I suppose I will get the mower out but it's too early now.

Re: Fabulous Friday PWYC
Good morning
I say YES to having a fabulous Friday!
>>totally skippable ramble about vehicle search<<<
Yesterday after getting DD13 from school, we went to test drive some vehicles. We went to Honda dealership to check out the Pilot and Accord. After online research, Accord was my first pick because of the biggest screen but was instantly ruled out the moment I sat in it. It sat too low for my comfort level. We drove the Pilot elite and liked it. It is rougher riding & noisier than the current vehicle but nothing major that I can't live with. I love the camera system it has. I discussed with salesperson about adding auto retracting steps like my current vehicle has. At that point I was 95% sure that it was our vehicle. DH made a comment that it was lacking sliding doors. I thought he might be confused but decided to follow up with his comment. I asked to be shown a vehicle with sliding doors which lead us to test driving the Odyssey. We have never owned a minivan, so it is not our normal type of vehicle, and I wasn't enthusiastic about it. However, the moment I sat in the Odyssey, I liked the layout and space. The test drive was easier, quieter, and smoother. My only hesitant with the Odessey is getting over the ick factor of being a minivan and the cameras are adequate but aren't as robust because it doesn't have 360 cameras. The dealership didn't have the trim package that I wanted (elite) so we came home to think about it and do a little more research.
I have lost confidence in my current daily drive. My 10-year-old suburban is running rough and needs new brakes. Either I need to put a few $$$$ into repairs or start fresh with a different vehicle. Hummmm....decisions...decisions.

Re: Fabulous Friday PWYC
I have body work at 11:30. Dd got in around 11:30 last night so I slept in this morning. I've walked the dog and am eating breakfast.
We'll be out for dinner tonight with friends while dd has dinner with friends also. We're doubling up on cars, she will drop me at body work so she can drive my car, and dh will come pick me up when I'm done. Meanwhile, he's going to Costco. So we'll all be back here this afternoon.

FAB. FRI. Adventures;
Dug one one herb & planted my plants I got yesterday.
Rolled up one hose after watering.
Walked with ddoggo , got to the corner remembered I'd ran out of poo bags so we
went back for that then walked the other way, glad b/c I saw 9 deer, I got so excited went back and took vids.
and set my walking stick down got home and immediately realized I did not have it when I stepped
inside the house! Thinking I was hot and sweaty & was not walking back for it so I got
in the rig, realized I needed my list went back inside for it, the headed out stopped got my walking
stick it's a nice varnished one. Headed to to the market for fuel and some lunch deli food gasp! LOL!
Some how I lost my list looked for it in all my pocket & my purse too. One thing they did not have
I remembered on the list.
Now I"m charging my phone. I have my steps in for the day and have eaten protein for my lunch.
Back to my morning routine! LOL -> !
DD called and we had a great visit and lots of laughs so hard we both had tears!

Home again, all tuned up and aligned. I'm going upstairs to craft - I'm up to needing four graduation cards now and three possible drop-in parties on our calendar next weekend.
Sounds like a fab day, Nancy!

Re: Fabulous Friday PWYC
Hi!
It's been a long day. I drove northwards to my brother's lawyer's office to pick up my bag of paperwork. It took longer to get there than it did to get home. Oddly enough I didn't have to provide any type of ID to pick this up, I felt that was weird. Maybe I look a lot more like my half brother than I realize. Maybe I was the only person that they were expecting in their office this morning. Who knows. I'm really happy to get all this very important paperwork back in my possession. I think I might also be really tired right now because getting them back is also somewhat emotional, if that make sense. There was so much let-down every time the x accountant gave me his weekly excuse. Plus I had been dealing with dh being extremely angry at this guy. My brother was also angry at this guy. Now it's all done, other than having to go and get these taxes done a year late.
Next week should be another busy week.

Re: Fabulous Friday PWYC
Hi, everybody! Long time, no see!
I couldn’t tell you what I’ve done this week, so I’ve probably just wasted time. Doing a little better today. Got some payroll work done, but not much. I’m waiting on some documents to edit, and I don’t know how long it will be until I see them. Another project has come up, and the deadlines for this one will need to be moved to compensate.
I’m doing some wash now. Unfortunately, it’s redoing a load I forgot to put in the dryer the other day.

Cathy - BWTG on accomplishing that emotional task. I hope you have a super restful sleep knowing it is done.
Mystery - Your making progress so that counts big or small. YGG
I have a weight off my shoulders with another problem solved. The daily drive 10 year old vehicle that felt like it was about to quit at any moment has been replaced with a new vehicle that will hopefully give us 10 years of service. I might need some counseling to come to terms with being a minivan person though.
This is another time when the phrase "never say never" comes true.

***Big sigh of relief*** that everyone is safe. We had a bit of wild west happening when 2 bulls in pasture next to us busted down the fence. There are a couple of new lady cows across the road and the bulls decided they needed to do what bulls do. It took 5 vehicles and 6 teenagers that teamed up to get the bulls away from the willing cows and return to their pasture. All the while keeping the remaining bulls in the pasture with an open gate. Bulls are dangerously unpredictable when they are in business mode. I am thankful no one was hurt.
