what do you need- really - is it rest?, is it lifting yourself and others up? is there something fun for you and your family that you want to do today? are you needing time at home or in the garden? errands?

What ever it is that you need - be gentle with yourself and remember how truly wonderful you are!!!

Oh thank you bw2 for starting us! It's so good to see you here!

What do you need today? You're among those spinning the big plates these days. And back atcha:
be gentle with yourself and remember how truly wonderful you are!!!
We're heading out for family brunch soon for Mother's day. I need to stop off at CVS and I'd still like to get soil for raised beds today. I've been saying that since March I think. And it's time to retire the last of the pansies and get out tomatoes, although it's cool and damp today. And I need to finish and email HOA financial info.

I don't know what else the day holds...keeping it loose today.

Hi Blessedw2!

We are outside today. Dh is planting seeds for peas, yellow and green beans and radishes. I am cutting the grass even though it was done less and a week ago. It's really warm and sunny here with very little wind.

Good morning

It is another round of playing with the bulls this morning. Last night the bulls got out two more times and the teens were able to get them back into their pasture. That resulted in burying a 6 wheel dually pickup up to the axels and having to pull it out. The teenagers thought it was great fun. This morning the 4 bulls knocked the gate down again. Someone called the police, so we had them join in the excitement as the bulls ran up/down the road refusing to return to their pasture. Finally, the bulls decided to jump the fence into another pasture so they could go be with the willing lady cow. The bulls are in the wrong pasture; the fence is busted but everything is calm. Once the bulls learn they can bust fences and jump gates they will continue to do it. The owner is out of state but told the police he is making arraignments to load the bulls up and haul them away.

Otherwise my morning has been routine and productive.

In between playing with the bulls (more like trying to keep DH safe, DS16 and friends from doing foolish)
** I have added a new vehicle to the insurance policy and removed the old vehicle.
** Consulted with DH about his weedeater. He doesn't think it is running right and wants me to take it to be repaired....for the 3rd time in the last month. I got hold of DS16 and a friend to come take a look at the weedeater to see if it really does need to be repaired. They were working 6 miles away but are headed here now.
** Conversation with DD13 about going to the festival/carnival today. She thought about it for a few minutes but decided it wasn't something she wants to do.

Next up -
** online order for a pikepass for new vehicle and cancel the pikepass on the old vehicle.

Home from brunch, picked up meds on the way home and dropped dd off at friends home. I had two mimosas with brunch, so I'm going to nap a bit.

Today is dreary, wet and too cool out for me. Only 62 degrees w high of maybe 63. I'll be warm napping too.

Twins, did you feel the earthquake? I heard something about it this morning.,

It is raining pretty steady here too. We went to the festival. Ds was moved inside and we came home immediately after he finished.
Dgs is here now; Dgd went home with ds and ddil.

:) at the teens having “great fun” chasing the bulls.
Tomorrow is another day.

I don't feel confident that I am juggling all the balls well. It seems lately my days have had more than usual unpredictable events. Having happy teens around is a blessing but they are also nonstop distractions from what I am trying to do. I am bouncing between too many things which is usually when some things fall through the cracks.

listing these so hopefully they won't be forgotten, fall off and become crack fillers....
** DD13 enrollment papers need to be filled out and returned on Monday.
** DS16 upcoming surgery - I need to ask more questions about what IV sedation they will be using. I want confirmation they will not be using ketamine.
** My infusion therapy this week. The hospital called saying I need to get blood work before coming. Need to find out where & when.
** What happened to referral to different neurologist for DH?
** DD13 needs referral from medical doc to get tested for autism.
** Need yearly maintenance done to house generator. Is DH mentally capable of doing it?

Next up -
** Prepare folder for new vehicle in the automobile binder. Gather & put all papers into that new folder.
** Label spare key fob and put into key box

You do a fabulous job, LadyM, and I'm sure that some day you'll miss the times with all the teens and energy in the house. But IKWYM. I'm feeling I'm not doing a good job as HOA treasurer, but it seems like I spend way too much time on it.

Lucylee, I wasn't aware of the earthquake but dd said she kind of woke up startled.
