Missed blessed's post. Oh, heavens! Hugs to you -- and strength!

Did some weeding with my hoe as I had some things to think on.
I need to think about a new one with out a wood handle.

Got the front weeded some more and raked those in a pile for trash day.

I'm home Lucy! (said Desi!)

I took a long time at the plant nursery, and actually wandered around a while waiting for a truck to be unloaded to see if there was another variety of basil. They only had lemon basil plants, and I prefer a standard kind. They didn't look that vigorous either. I added a basil plant to my grocery order, perhaps I can plant it, if not I'll use in cooking. I ended up at 6500 steps so far and enjoyed walking around the plant nursery grounds.

I need to get started on planting but I've been going and going and I may delay.

I'm so glad to see bw2 checking in. I had feared worse news so I'm glad her dmom is back out of hospital and at her home. ((Hugs all around))

And Mystery is in the spirit of the day and is busy today too!

Cathy, I'm not a fan of ribs myself (don't like getting fingers so messy) but dh cooks ribs just like your dh does. Good to let him do some of the cooking!

LadyM, you've reminded me that I have a return near the mall. Perhaps while I've been on the run and not adverse to another errand I should go this afternoon? For some reason, I'm on a roll today.

Quick peek and they haven't started shopping grocery order yet, delivery is 3 to 6 p.m. but they're estimating 3:54 to 4:34 delivery. That gives me a window of opportunity to go!

Coming back through. did the return, looked around for a few minutes and scooted back home. Since getting here, I walked the ddog and then went across the street to chat with neighbor, and let her know that we'd be away next week and that we have a new dog sitter this time.

DH is home. I'm going to work on HOA stuff here at kitchen counter and see how far I can get. Tomorrow we have two graduation drop in parties, and Sunday a drop in birthday party (at temple, for rabbi and for temple prez) and then a graduation party. I'm going to try to work on plants in the morning.

We have possibility of severe storms overnight - looks like after 1 a.m. to 6ish a.m. Lucylee may have same.

(((Blessed)))

Had a good time at the Friday afternoon group. There was a new woman there that didn't say a word because she was concentrating so hard on learning to knit a sweater.

Came home to dh waiting for me to cook some mac and cheese from a box so he could finish the ribs on the BBQ. He also finished the dishes that I didn't get to. (The dishwasher was completely full and I also did all the large utensils and pots and pans except for one pot and a large casserole dish.

Dh also went to a small nursery and got 4 basil plants to put in with the tomatoes. He also told me that a friend dropped by to say hi.

Home from spending 5 hours in the city. Three hours of it was spent at the hospital. This is a new-to-me infusion center so the paperwork was lengthy. Then the blood draw which the first person couldn't get so they brought in another person with more experience and she was successful. How many times do you let them stick you?

Sam's shopping was predictable and fairly easy because I was following a list.

LadyM… 2 times then they need to bring someone else in. Ask me how I know. Dee was the same way. In AZ it’s the law ❤️
