trissie, the bride and groom are in good standing with everyone! They're happy to speak with everyone. They believe the man is innocent, so they're good with that group, but are are also perfectly fine with our stand of "I don't know," which I appreciate. Dh and I know that we have different info than many people, some which came out in the trial and some did not -- but all is circumstantial. It feels like a lot of smoke - but no fire. His people want to deny the existence of any smoke. We refuse to do that and thus say "I don't know". And that makes us bad people in the eyes of some. Not enough evidence to convict him, we agree.-- Sorry, probably TMI. Wondering if your lawyer brain is intrigued. LOL!
L Ann, the party sounds fun -- but what is a turtle race?
Glad you got in a sort-of-nap, FFB. Nice to have time off to look forward to.

I'll be out and about now for about 4 hours: 12:30 - 2:30 bday brunch, visit dd29's booth at the art hop (think - neighborhood art fair), and then a trip to WF.

Next:
- 12:30 - 2:30 bday brunch
- visit art hop
- WF

Later:
- QT
- go for a walk
- tidy living areas
- 12:30 - 2:30 BD brunch
- visit the art hop/ art fair
- WF run
- finish change of address cards; ready for the mail!
- anything else from brain dump?
- 6 - 8-ish host simple dinner for up to 7 people (chicken, GF bread, Dutch cheese, some sort of fruit)
- after dinner clean up
- duo
- update health apps: MFP, WW, Noom
- read book for fun
- reach out to AA re: coffee
- reach out to B re: a walk

TaDas!
- said good bye to dh
- up; weighed self

trissie they fight here too but sometimes i'm so tired I can fall asleep nonetheless

hi Peaches !

L.Ann thanks for answering my curiosity... And do they have real turtles ?

helia you have been busy already.

So I applied for the job that is similar to the one I have but 3kms away from home. The offer had been withdrawn from the website I saw it on, but it was still on the company's website. Not sure they will call me, but who knows. And I put my resume online on a special website for possible hiring companies to see. And went to the nearby playground with both DSs and DS9 said the park (playground) was "for babies" but then he enjoyed himself. Now waiting for DS6 to exit the shower so I can have a shower myself.

TADAs
applied for job
kids to park (playground) then back home
made usual weekly to-do list (it's a rinse and repeat really, like a checklist)
and updated the past week's list

TODO
shower and pajamas
help MrNG prep dinner
maybe watch family movie with the kids?

Kids are off school tomorrow, as usual for Pentecost Monday, but I will be at payroll, fortunately MrNG will be home to watch them.

Hello, everyone!

The site is acting up again for this evening, so I'll try and keep this short.

Helian, I'm glad you survived the wedding, and had a nice time afterwards with DH and your friend.

FBB, that job sounds as though it could be a good fit. And being so much nearer to home is unreal plus. In any case, updating your CV is time very well spent.

It's been a good day. Church was good and DF E was in fine form. Our lunch today was a small joint of gammon, baked with a maple syrup glaze, roast potatoes, gravy, asparagus, roasted carrots and peppers, followed by raspberry mousse.

The weather wasn't that warm, but it was dry, so I've had some time in my garden - mostly deadheading. I've even had a good session with the photos, and I now have Matilda on my lap.
