That's funny Gma! Your DS knew what you were thinking. I'm not a big fan of frilly clothes, didn't dress my girls too frilly, but I think F's mom is - and maybe F is too so this baby might be so adorned. It doesn't matter -- she'll be the cutest baby ever!

I'm at a coffee shop and the girls have just arrived to celebrate Father's Day -- so I'll be back later!

My two daughters dressed their own daughters pretty differently, helian. And then they hit 3 and seem to know exactly what they want to wear regardless of what their mothers prefer!

Still at the coffee shop. The girls just left. This is our favorite outdoor coffee shop. The weather is gorgeous as long as there's shade.

WTG on the clean curtain, L Ann. --Oh, that's so true! Eventually kids decide what they want to wear themselves. That was also true with my DDs - and what they wanted to wear changed a lot over the years. It used to be a lot of pink and purple; now, neither DD would be caught dead in pink or purple.

The school fair was a good time, the boys performed their dances with their classmates, had fun at the games and with their class mates - water guns mostly. It was difficult to bring them back home for showers and dinner, and I don't think the teachers will find it easy to motivate them for the last three weeks of school
I still need to make my weekly to-do list (copy and paste the past week's list, with only a few minor changes... )

Hello everyone!

Gma, that's such a funny story about your son confirming his identity before he was born!

L.Ann, I think it's good for kids to be bored some of the time. G12 and her DF L 11 yo often knock on my door to say they're bored, and what can they do? I'm full of ideas such as: read a book, write and illustrate a story, tidy your bedroom, unload the DW for your Mum. They suddenly decide they're not so bored after all, and decide to go to the park, or play on the tree swing!

It's been a good day. Church was lovely -we celebrated Trinity Sunday as well as Father's Day. Lunch was roast chicken, roast potatoes, gravy, tenderstem broccoli, roasted carrots, courgettes and peppers, followed by chocolate and walnut pudding (a Delia Smith recipe). Laundry is folded and PA, and I've had a good session in my garden, and managed to deadhead and spray the roses.
