I do think that's some of it for sure. Back and forth too many times. And she's had a lot of company lately. One minute she's stubborn and not leaving the house and next minute she willingly goes. Today so far she looked great. In town sitting at the car show with dad. See what she does later.

Walked
Read most of a book. Got some great notes from it too.
De-cluttered a stack of books.
Cleaned off a desk this morning.
I have chatted with dsis on the phone.
Then dd showed came good visit with both of them.
Sent snacks with her for Dgd.

Made myself a late lunch.
Had a great chicken wrap with cheese and home grown tomato.

It's raining out side here again now.
Waiting for a fav. show to come on.
Decided to not do sheets today as it's a rest day moving it till first part of the week.
I was going to sew a bit more till DD came.
Did do some knitting I've started another prayer shawl using odds and ends on it.

oops, lost a long post because I closed browser instead of closing an excel file that was open. Will try to recap in the morning...so sorry.

Just wanted to say hello!
Normal day here, dgs and I went to a baby shower and dropped off a gift, stopped by to see my dmom. She’s “okay,” but her shoulder is really giving her fits.

I’m feeling kinda edgy, but I’m okay too. Planning to have dgs’ birthday party here at my house a week from tomorrow… next week the “wonderful Wednesdays” start at church and I’m afraid I’ll be needed to chaperone… worries and guilt re: dmom… I’m just over-thinking everything, as dgs told me earlier. He’s here tonight so that’s a good distraction.
Tomorrow is another day.

KittyKatt, that's great that Matilda can have gone through so much dental work and be bouncing around the house today anyway.

Ramblin', enjoy your little houseguest.

LauraLind, it does sound as if your dmother does need eyes on her activity quite a bit. I'm sure you were surprised to see that she was headed for the door and almost didn't attract attention. When my ddad was living alone for a while after my dmother's death and before he came to live with us, he was taking a walk most days. That was fine in a way, but we wanted to know when he was taking them. We put a door monitor on, up at the top of the door, very small white rectangle that didn't look interesting at all. When the door was opened, the phone at our house rang and told us with a recorded message. He never knew, but one of us would scramble to get over to visit him right then and "happen" to come upon him as he was walking (we lived close). That was a great help just to monitor how he was doing. Others of that type will just sound a tone elsewhere in the house to alert housemates when the door is opened. We were surprised to learn from our insurance agent that the policy gave a discount on our rate because of that little alarm.

I enjoyed prayer meeting but did not get to enjoy worship service. I may try to catch it later in the week recorded.

Dd26 called when she was out driving home from grocery shopping this afternoon.

Stayed caught up in the kitchen today. Made coleslaw.

Looking at the upcoming week, I have an appt on Fri, HRH an appt on Tues. Dd26 plans to visit next weekend.
