(((LadyM))) I know it's hard to know exactly what is best but I think you are doing the right thing, and you are handling these episodes with LordM with such wisdom and patience -- while also all the other stuff is going on with the house and the kids and just "life"! I really admire you! And I'm so glad nothing showed up on the tests!

Speaking of kids, dgs spent most of the day with me, and dgd is here for the night. She'll leave when dgs gets out of football at 10:00, I'll go get my hair cut, and then she will come back while ds and dgs go for haircuts also.
DS leaves tomorrow night, headed in your direction, actually, LadyM. He'll be there one night, then back nearer home -- MS for Saturday and Sunday.
DDIL will be home Friday, so dgrands will probably stay home tomorrow night -- I'll have them Friday and Saturday night while she works her weekend rotation. About every 5 weeks, she has to do a weekend, but when that comes around, she gets Friday and Monday off.

DGD did okay with her eye exam -- some inflammation in one eye. She has drops 3x a day. This is a precaution related to her juvenile arthritis. She is very prone to uveitis, so they check her eyes at least every six months.

Blessed, I'm so glad you had a happy moment with your dmom! I really admire you too -- the patience and care you show your dmom is amazing. I just don't think I will be able to handle such a situation so well, if the future sees my dmom needing me more.

* BTW -- I really admire ALL of you ladies!!! Sometimes I feel like I am just an imposter, looking in on a bunch of ladies who have it all together, and I'm just plodding along, sleeping late and being lazy.
OH -- but I did probably at least 15 minutes in the zone again today! Yesterday, I bought a new push broom for outside, and I went out and swept the carport today. And lo and behold, when dgd got out of the car, she said, "Hey, you cleaned all this up, didn't you?" while looking at the wall where leaves and dirt seem to accumulate around some of their toys that are still out there. It's nice to have one's work praised, even by a 9-year-old. ;)
I also went to Wmart today, and to the drug store, which left me aggravated. The dermatologist prescribed a mixture of three lotions, and last year, she expected me to have to mix them myself -- BUT the pharmacist combined them all for me, without my asking. Today, however, they gave me the three different tubes, so I have to hope I mix in the right amounts. SMH. Plus, they didn't give me the shampoo that I had specifically asked the dermatologist to phone in on Monday. So I'll have to make some calls tomorrow.
Oh -- and I also deleted approx 150 spam/unnecessary emails. I get sooo much junk, and I had not looked at in a few days.

My stomach has REALLY been giving me fits all day... starting around 6 a.m. I had to make a VERY quick run to the bathroom, took a couple Imodium, had the same thing happen again within 30 minutes, and again around 10:00 a.m., when I took 2 more Imodium. I may just have to break down and let family doctor send me to a gastroenterologist, but the one I want to see is 40 miles away, and I hate to ask ds to take me over there for a colonoscopy, if that's what is needed. Same problem seven years ago, same doctor said I was just fine and could wait 10 years for another. Sigh. He is also the same doctor who told me to take FIBER, but that did seem to make it worse, and some of you ladies convinced me to leave it off. I may try adding it to my diet again. As dh would say, there's no sense in going back to him if I am not going to do what he says.
DGD suggested I start wearing adult diapers... I am NOT ready for that but gosh... I am tired of thinking I have to run to the bathroom every 30 minutes, too.
Anyway, I'm not going to the doctor this week. He's closed tomorrow and his father-in-law passed away and the funeral is Friday. I feel sad for ddoctor -- he has lost his wife, both his parents, and now both his inlaws. He has no children. He and I started kindergarten together, so we've known each other all our lives. He does have 4 siblings, so it's not like he's all alone in the world, but I know this has to be hard for him.

Good night to all of you! Hope you have a great day tomorrow!
Tomorrow is another day.
