WTG on your kicking your kitchen into shape. I looked around mine and realized that there aren't actually that many dishes to wash. Mount Washmore is diminished to foothills.

Bama, I know ants are very attracted by sugar - mayne the dog biscuit cupboard took the overflow? How nice to see William Shatner for real. I didn't watch the original Star Trek series, but did enjoy the films. My favourite is the one where they attempt time travel and end up in 1980s San Francisco.

We are getting smoke from fires. We think the smoke is coming from Canada. Currently, our local air quality index is 107 - 148 on our side of town, unhealthy for sensitive groups. It is hazy outside; Sunday, the sunset was hazy and red.

The 2 turkeys were sitting in my driveway when I got back from my jog. They're not really bothered by cars. They did slowly get up and move away. . . After I honked. And slowly crept forward. One has a slight limp.

I'm working on laundry too, Bama. I grew up watching Star Trek - every day? Was it on daily? Right before dinner?? I have a friend who taught himself klingon. I don't think my ds did -- but I'm not sure. He did teach himself one of the elven languages in Lord of the Rings. LOL! He was never a bored kid.

Wtg! Gotta kick into high(er) gear, dh is due home and I purchased a step ladder on marketplace I need him to go with me to pick it up. My kitchen is still a mess but the dw is running and the sink was empty until I put dog bowls in it to soak. Taking a break from laundry (small pile to hang up is on table, washer and dryer running), feed turkey (he prolly is lonely, he runs to the gate when he hears sounds from the house, so we gobble back and forth when I go outside) and feed outside cats (1 semi feral that’s ours and 1 that belongs to the neighbor but has taken up residence on mom’s porch so we feed and medicate his eyes that look a little rough.

Phew. Much better. I can go barefoot on my floors without feeling it. And as long as I keep the pots damp without over water they are much better again. I'm a little sad cause my front step ones were so pretty with red begonias. Pansies . Little white trailing ones and some that were peachy red mini flowers I can't remember the name. I lost those peachy ones and the bold red one beside it. Lost the delicate feel but one pansy might be ok and I added some lobelia. A couple others of those mini ones in mixed varieties. Apparently they don't like the treatment. I should have remembered I also moved them from morning shade to full sun. Even if she did water it wasn't adequate like that. My .

I will never forget that awful smokey skies . Careful with the air quality and any asthma etc. A couple of really bad summers. Last year being one. And maybe 4 5 years ago? There were 3 or 4 fires that year almost on all sides of town. Just far enough town was safe but many evacuations on all sides. A ginormous one on the other side of the lake. It evacuated all of the community over there. Scary stuff. At least you're all getting only smoke from a distance but I feel for the central provinces. There's still one up north of where fil is but it's way in the forest a long way out.


Germane is quite the acrobat. You think so positive lol.. get a pet.. it will be fun.... and a lot of work especially when you have too many. Good thing we love em. Even all 5 cats .

Well, my Kroger grocery order was cancelled - no explanation. I made another order to be delivered this evening. Meanwhile, more items showed up on the website as unavailable, which means I'll need to go to WF tomorrow. Ordering groceries was not super helpful today. We won't have a fresh veggie tonight - unless dh wants to trade the salad for tomorrow with another veggie.

I have made a 2nd grocery order, looked at places for a weekend away for dh and myself, and gotten the basics of my G Classroom set up.

Off to switch laundry and get dinner going.
