What will your Sunday sound like?
Will you have a quiet Sunday? Will you have a loud Sunday with your home filled with teenagers? Will there be music playing?

Re: What will your Sunday sound like?
I woke up to the sound of rain pouring down on our steel roof!! Here it is over an hour later and it's still pouring! It sounds fabulous to me and I'm sure all the farmers are happy as well.
I can't go outside to do any weeding. All 3 cats are outside. Usually they have wandered off to check the property for mice and bunnies. Today they are all gathered under the table on the patio. They are dry. Therefore, they can stay outside for a while. I need to change the litter boxes. They need to have time out in the fresh air.
After I said good night to dh last night, he apologized for being a jerk yesterday and the day before. Told me he's been in a lot of pain lately. He has an appointment with his regular doctor on Wednesday for his usual diabetic wellness check up.
Later...
As soon as the rain stopped, I took 6 bags of old paperwork/cardboard and pictures of people we didn't know from a very old photo album and burned all of it! There was nothing to identify anyone or the place they were taken, so out they went. Most of the paperwork was duplicates/copies of things we didn't need. I kept all the original copies.

Re: What will your Sunday sound like?
Good morning, Cathy. I hope the cats enjoy their unusual time outside under a cover. Hope they chase mice away in front of them so efficiently that you don't have to deal with them at all. Wish I could be a cat-whisperer to the species in general and tell them bunnies taste bad, don't hunt that, lol.
I'm glad you and dh can understand each other after frustrating days. There is a lot I could add to conversation about how hard it is to get along with a spouse. I watch things here sometimes, as they go from unfair to me, to very thoughtful and caring. I try to hang on long enough to the memory of the thoughtful that it comes back around again, while bearing up to the unfair. But that doesn't mean sweet sainthood can be found in me, lol. There is some selfishness in this, or at the least some self-protection. I myself am at a particular moment of needs right now. How will an argument help "today", even if it would be so satisfying in this hour, and I know I would "win". Would that be much of a victory if an argument is fresh but what I need is a steady presence the next day at long medical? Or what if it's he who needs it? I see him weighing the worth of an argument himself, sometimes.
Dd27 texting me at the moment - doesn't look like she can visit today. It was her birthday yesterday and so many friends trying to find some time with them. One couple drove in from a distance (best man at wedding). HRH will be down about this since it's a time of year (back to school) when family is so busy. He has taken to asking me, "Did we have any children?"
I have him all set for the bday party of aunt and uncle this afternoon. Packages/presents nicely wrapped, laundry caught up so that he has several choices, a dish we owe one of his cousins ready to go back. I know he wants me to go, but there will be evidence of my existence, lol, and I should stay home.

Re: What will your Sunday sound like?
Waving found some fun peppy music for back ground as one apple I missed when I picked them grew and fell.
So I need to schedule that on yt.
Lucy L. thanks for letting me know about your planner.
That's a great reminder for me to look at a book with those detailed lists in it.
Great for mojo to get going on a zone this next week.
I was up at 4"15 again sigh allergies were acting up and my shoulder was needing a stretch.
This time of year lots of folks are gone it was so quiet when I was out and about yesterday.
Did some journaling pages are done of the blank paper I cut and punched so am starting with a new
type of refills I've used before but they work great for blocks like goals affs. done list and thoughts too.
I put a piece of foam in the glider and it's better for my knitting.
Finished a project started another but need to re-start it found a boo boo at the beginning.
60* / 84* F. today's temp. range.
Saw a squirrel in the back yard with something in it's mouth probably leaves for nesting material.
Waving.

Re: What will your Sunday sound like?
Thanks so much for starting us Cathy. I'm having a social Sunday, after a social Saturday too. We left at 3;30ish and got back home around nine p.m. I enjoyed very much seeing/meeting these more distant cousins, but was very apprehensive going. One cousin I've been in touch with on genealogy over the years, and I like him very much. He made sure I was included in this and I enjoyed him and his wife very much. Another had a wife who is joining my DAR chapter on one of her own lines, so we had a lot to talk about.
Today we go to the river, after being at the lake yesterday. The cousin yesterday has the most gorgeous lake lot. Flat, with shade trees, gorgeous dock and grounds. And the house beautiful as well, although somewhat dated and needs some repairs...
I can't wait for tomorrow when my day is quiet.

Re: What will your Sunday sound like?
good morning -
We had a huge all night thunderstorm and rain. all my trees were dying and I lost a bunch of flowers bc of last weeks heat and lack of rain.
I hope we have rain once a week
hope your kitties enjoy the lovely time outside
I am so sorry your dh has been in pain! praying for him!
glad you talked and it worked out!
good morning d harriet!
I miss my mouser kitty - since he has been gone the field mice have had a lot of fun. Don't want it and don't like it!
sorry your dd can't visit today. happiest of Birthday's to you!!!!
lol on dh asking if you had any children - too cute.
enjoy your birthday party of aunt and uncle.
We too have gone through this with my dh - I thought all of us have our angle wings
we are just human aren't we all. Dh hasn't been unpredictable since they fixed his trac.
I don't know if anyone has this but I wonder why dh can't just talk it out - tell me what he is frustrated by and it takes a couple days to see what is underneath everything. I wonder sometimes if some people are more aware of how they feel and why they feel the way they do.
I wish you all a wonderful day.
last night with mom was very hard.
My husbands wife - sister in law - will be here tomorrow visiting mom. I hope she doesn't ask me anything - my brother said that he told her. I will have to speak to him about not saying anything about his gf etc. It's reached for me a level of uncomfortableness. if she asks I will say she needs to talk to my brother.
mom is so angry and hateful towards me - but calls for me as well. I can let dd's and helper take care of mom today.
goal today: fitness
menu planning
dailies
dogs
etc.

Re: What will your Sunday sound like?
Dh and I were just out in the garden and dh walked up to me with 4 really, really tiny, but bright red strawberries. As I ate them, I was shocked at how sweet they were. OH MY!! They were absolutely delicious! I offered one to dh and he said "I grow them for you." He also says this about the raspberries.
Dh just went for a ride on the ATV. Probably to go across the field to grab some more peaches.
All 3 cats have come in and they had their weekly treat of cat nip. The 2 older ones are sleeping it off. The youngest has run off to one of her many hiding/sleeping spots.

Re: What will your Sunday sound like?
Good morning
Cathy - Thank you for the start today and good vibes.
I have several playlists of favorite songs that I choose from every morning. Drinking a cup of coffee while listening to good music is a treat I enjoy most every day.
If I could ****blink******Blink**** blink**** and transport myself to experience something new this morning. I would choose to enjoy being on the remote shores of Keweenaw Peninsula and feeling the cool breeze from Lake Superior. Surrounded by beauty and sounds of nature.
I might be distracting myself by thinking about something other than planning DS17 math lessons for next week.
