Some goals today?

what 5 little things can you get done

what small moments can you find to appreciate

self care - nothing fancy - outside time - not hours but little bits of time
take time for moisturizer - brushed hair - cleaned face - dressed s2s first thing
read or something creative

Little bits of time can bring so much joy and accomplishment

What will Saturday bring to you!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Sweet dd younger has something wrong. She is in so so much pain - they don't know why - she says it feels like she is being torn apart. Even with her pain disorder - I have never seen her in so much pain. Could you pray for her to get better.

I will go over at 8:45 after helper comes for morning
I have to be home with mom at 12:30 bc helper leaves.

mom is awake and talking - It's always amazing what she talks about - always a homemaker - she wants me to get her material for a sewing project

it's pouring rain and we needed
my house needs the card file!

time for me to s2s
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I got the card out in the mail for Dgson.
I did not go to the outdoor destination wedding a 2 day event.

Frogged out crochet project one skein to use on some thing else.
The project design did not met my expectations.

Smoke is returning; rain tomorrow thankfully.

New neighbors were moving in yesterday up the street on the corner.

On PBS sewing weekend might be a good time for a retreat for that.
Took notes on the mental benefits of sewing.

Walked.

(((Hugs))) Blessed — praying the doctors and nurses can figure out what’s causing such pain for your dd.
Tomorrow is another day.

((((Blessed)))) I stopped and said a prayer for your DD.

My energy is returning, and the mental fog is lifting. I'm putting more effort into taking better care of myself, focusing on spending time in the sunshine, nature, and fresh air while staying active. That always helps me feel better. My body and brain also need high-quality, low-inflammation food, and I’ve been making excuses and letting that slide. I know I can and will do better.

I'm organizing a birthday meal for DS17 with friends and family this evening. After several attempts to make it happen, it's finally coming together despite all the schedule conflicts and postponements.

I’m back to fully using SHE cards and the hip pad again. It’s taking some time to get the ignored cards back into their routine cycle, but with about 30 minutes of effort, it’s happening. The structure and cards are all set; I just need to update them so they align with the next due date.

It's noon, and I still haven't finished my coffee. My usual schedule is completely off track. Hopefully, things will get back to normal once the SHE cards are in regular use again.

I went to a stitching group this morning. We decided to switch things up a bit and try a different time of day. Lots of interested people stopping by to say hi. The usual number of "older" men stopping to tell us to make them a pair of socks or a blanket. One brave man stopped by to tell us all to go home and clean our houses and make our husbands either coffee or breakfast or lunch. One woman said her husband had been dead for more than 10 years. That shut him up. It was an interesting morning.

Came home to dh who made himself his coffee and had a shower. All 3 cats were inside sleeping. All within view. Dh said he didn't know where any of the cats were.

We are having cheeseburgers for supper.

I sauteed a variety of garden vegetables and then added a mixture of couple eggs and egg while to make sure vitamin/minerals were being included in my food while keeping protein primary focus. I have selected salmon and a mixed green salad for my evening meal at the restaurant. This place makes yummy homemade hot rolls served with cinnamon butter. I will be enjoying the smell and one bite of those. The first bite is always the best IMHO.

DH is watching football game which is going in our states favor....so far.

DD14 has taken her shower and dressed for the day. I need to give her a couple of tasks to do. Hum....sweep her bedroom floor? organized her closet? I'm fairly sure she has about a gazillion empty hangers that need returned to the laundry area. She also needs to clean her bathroom. It is time to add tablet to toilet tank.....also it is time to change the bottle in the automatic room fragrance sprayer. Change her bed sheet. I'll text those tasks to her now.

DS17 called to ask my advice which of two chemical was best to spray cattle for flies. I have been away from that world too long to offer an opinion. I referred him back to his boss.

Thursday afternoon and we had a main water break in front of my house. We were without water for over 10 hours. Now the water is back on, but we have to boil water for the next two days and only use bottled water for any water that goes into her mouth.

I just started my laundry today because I figured the hot water would be OK to wash my clothes. All dishes have to go into the dishwasher as well.

Now I’m getting ready to watch the Tennessee game. I’ll folding laundry. It’s been interesting in few days

Waving to y’all.

I stopped all too, just now, and said a prayer for blessedw2's ddyounger. I'm so sorry Doctor is not a good listener.

LadyM, I can tell things have been changing a bit much for you lately if you are back fully to cards and hip pad. Best wishes on getting back to very ordinary.

Oh, Ramblin', so much inconvenience. Thank goodness that's mostly over. Enjoy relaxing in front of the game.

I thought I'd never be able to get here today.
First, I spent my time and my thinking on getting ready for ds' family to arrive, knowing there would be a lot going on.
When they did arrive, I took at least some time to try to be social, but chores were looming.

Ds climbed into the bed of his truck, took the long pole cutter HRH had assembled and cut the water-oak limbs that were hanging to the roof for us. Two were cut and we ALL of us wished we had just been happy with one. As the second came down, it dented the truck and scratched it a little. :o The multiple leaves knocked ds' hat off and made him hop down from the bed's ledge into the bed but didn't hurt him.

Later our green-eyed boy who had been the helper and cut one easier, more earth-bound limb himself, began to sneeze, and then sneeze and sneeze some more, his eyes puffing and turning red. So, he's definitely allergic to something. Ds has a friend who does vehicle body work and can probably pop the dent out in a sec. If the paint scratch is a problem, I'll see to it we buy a little bottle of car paint the right color. The construction folks had estimated we'd probably have to pay up to $500 to get this done, and as it turned out no one even had to go on the roof. HRH's contraption cost less than $40 and we still own it, taken apart and stored for some other odd job another day.

While they were here, I had dgdC get out HRH's hidden bday present and they enjoyed being with him when he opened it. She played "ball" with Tobias after that with rolled up wrapping paper, lol. They were very entertaining. By that time we were noticing that allergic reaction and sent our poor sneezing boy home to his medicine cabinet.
