Good morning, Trissie, and thank you for starting us off. A vision of si shine is very welcome - I think we're forecast rain for most of the week.
Dogged, I'm so sorry for your DBro, but I'm sure the cat distribution system will work for him soon.
My calendar is showing only 2 appointments for this week, so I need to make the.kost of it, as next week is looking.crazy. We're also forecast rain for most of the week, so it's a good opportunity to make progress with the bedroom. I came up with a plan last night to rejig some of the under bed storage and go through some boxes again, as I'm sure there is more than can go on its way. This means more work for me now, but I'll reap the long term benefits.
I have three must dos today: find Fred's vaccination certificate, print that receipt for the item I need to return this week, and email my report to the CMA.

House tasks: Replace the bit of mortar that's fallen out of the edge of the roof (I think its called the verge? Can this wait until next year when we get the house painted when a roof ladder will be in place?) I need for it to stop raining before I ask anyone to come and look!

Sort out cabinet that wobbles - does the back need some sort of bracing ?
Fix dripping kitchen tap (new washer ?)- DF E has given me the phone number of her plumber . I think DF CW also has a plumber she is happy with?
Take up and hem those thick winter curtains for the kitchen
Book eye test for me
Sort prints and put in albums (this will probably be an activity to do on wet days!) WIP I am now working on 2024
Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)

DH has left for work, the house is quiet and it's raining. So a good opportunity to tackle those. admin tasks. I've printed the emails I think I need for the instore refund (one of them had a barcode, so maybe that's relevant?), made the final amendments to my report for the CMA, uploaded it and answered all the questions on their form,.and submitted everything. And Ive had an automated response to say theyve received it. I e also had another couple of people email to say they would like to come to parish Christmas lunch. I think we're now up to 14? 
At this rate we'll at least cover the costs, and hopefully make a little profit for church funds.

It snowed a little on and off all day yesterday, probably 1.5 - 2 inches total. A thin layer has remained on the ground. It is currently 21F/ -6.1C. and the high today is forecast to be 30F/ -1.1C, so I suppose it will remain here until tomorrow at least.
Wednesday's high is 48F and Saturday's is 58, so I don't think it will stay much longer.
Yesterday, I made progress - but didn't get everything done. I DID get all the clothes laundry + sheet laundry done. There are clean sheets on the bed! And my summer clothes have been moved out of my closets and drawers. I got some basic groceries from WF - forgot salad stuff for Tuesday night however. I cleaned the main bathroom mirror which I noticed was strangely smeary.
I prepped for J12yo's party - wrapped her gifts and wrote a speech. I attended CG2 3-5 and the bday dinner for J12yo, 6:30 - 9:10. We got home from all that around 9:20 pm. It was too late for me to be good for anything else.
Today: These things didn't get done yesterday and I hope to hit on them today: walking, payroll, bills, Memorial thank yous. For payroll, I need to grade HWs turned in, including one wonky one, finish putting together a practice exam (I'm using AI to help me with exercises!), review my own exam, and prep for class today - including reviewing students for the final exam on Wednesday. On site: 1-1:30 meeting and then teach my class 1:30 - 3:30. Dinner will probably be from the freezer + roasted butternut squash for the veggie.

Good morning! If I was a beach person, this would be the time of year I would go. It’s cool so you’re not sweaty, it’s not as crowded, and activities are still available. Destin/Miramar Beach isn’t that far from here, just a hop, skip and a jump. Y’all come on down!
Sending you all some sunshine to brighten cloudy days. It was cloudy here yesterday, our area even got hail, so odd. Now it’s sunny and cool, the temps are supposed to go below freezing this week which is unusual for this time of year, but it will warm back up some. We don’t usually freeze until January/February and even then it comes in waves. I will have to cuops as we go and see what I’ve missed. I hope everyone had a good weekend.

I had a good weekend. We ran errands, ate out, visited the festival and tried cane juice, shopped for clothes (which I haven’t done in years), had a 1.5 hour chat with dd2 who amazes me more and more with her “adultness”, she can disagree with my opinion in the most pleasant way lol. Now it’s back to business. Both girls will be home for Thanksgiving and I’d like there to be some progress in both homes (ours, moms which is theirs now) before they get here.
