Had a great visit with Dgd and she liked the basket and took it and a couple of the journals.
She shared about some frustrations at her parents.
I just listened mostly. She liked a thing to paint and took some paints and brushes too,
She is on day two back to work now.

Happy the day was nice in the afternoon and I could air it out again today.
Warmed up enough for the gnats to be out this afternoon.
Walked ddoggo again to see the lites at dusk to see some that are up now made it more fun.
Got my steps in.

Glad I have a plan for dinner thawed out.
Did up the dishes.

Glad for the house work I did it looks great this evening.

Just peeking in before bed. So glad all went well with the catapult.

Had therapy today. I guess it’s been a year with this therapist, or maybe it was the occasion of new forms that had my therapist going over what I said on my original intake forms. I guess I really have made a lot of progress. When I started, I had a lot of my self-esteem tied up in my productivity. I don’t know how much more productive I am, but at least I’m not beating myself up about it as I used to.

Dropped DD off at work and picked DC up from school. Picked up the latest ADD meds. Sent DC into the store for me — forgot to make the quick-pickled red onions that were the catalyst for the shopping trip. The recipe says they’re best at six days; the ladies will be getting two days. The domestic goddess of our little group is hosting this month, and her idea was to have us all cook from the same cookbook in which just about every recipe has some complication: exotic ingredients, new cooking techniques to learn, etc. Got ingredients to make DH a pie while he was at Scouts, but he made it before dinner. 🤷‍♀️

Anyhow, bedtime now. Sweet dreams, everybody!
I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder, and Guilder to frame for it; I'm swamped. -- Prince Humperdinck

Nancy, so cool to have the house the way you want it and then a visit from granddaughter with chat about painting, journaling, and with gifts you could share.

blessed
, what good news for your dear dog and for the family who loves him! I'm sure you will be well prepared when the construction folks arrive. Fun to think of a room addition - it would have me dreaming.

Mystery, think of it as experimenting with the concept - Quick Pickled. How does everyone like them at 2 days? That would be interesting and maybe valuable info as you all consider new recipes.

So much for me to remember tomorrow. We are out the door by 9 in the morning - not so bad. I have made my green jello. Trying to have a good attitude. HRH says he sure is looking forward to lunch on Friday, lol.

I am hoping d harriet that you can put your post in for today - I wish I would have taken a picture of it yesterday.

I have to get started as I have someone coming at 9:30 am.
I tried getting up at 5 then 5:30 then 6:00 lol I sat and sat and sat - watched garden answer - coffee and breakfast. d dog Gracie must have noticed that I had too much on the floor bc she retrieved so many items to me that they filled my dining room table - I have my coffee and breakfast and d grace keeps bringing me items. (she loves taking clean washcloths and cloths off of mom's shelves. lol.

time to get started.
Happy Thursday!
it is always a joy to be here with you!
