That's cold here too.
I've read 1.5 Ann Patchett books, kitkat. I read half of The Dutch House - really liked it. I should go back and finish it. I read Tom Lake and thought it was OK, though all my friends loved it. Maybe if I read Our Town I'd like it better.
I love hearing when kids are playing/ creating/ doing "kid" things that don't involve screens, FFB! Good job parenting!
I got some kitchen towels for Christmas that I really like, Kitty.
It is 2:30, and I need to get moving again. I just finished lunch. I need to be otd again in about 2.5 hours. Next up for me is finishing the morning routine and then starting exam prep.
Goals for Today:

Light snow has started....
I did my gym class - I feel it.
Took my pup to two stores.
Second time in a week, someone asked if they could pet her and then related that they had just lost their fam. dog... My pup then becomes extra loving (if that is possible) - gives them a full face wash... She may not know what it is about but dogs definitely have empathy:)
Enjoying dgkids, and a cup of coffee, then:
bake an apple cake. (strange craving)

I've emptied, cleaned and decluttered 4 more kitchen cupboards, washed all the storage containers and put everything I'm going to keep back in place. And I've wrapped all the Christmas tins, put them in the wicker basket and put that in a bin bag and tied the label on, so it's all ready for DH to put up in the loft tomorrow.
DH's spaghetti Bolognese was very tasty. I've prepped lunch for tomorrow, fed the kitties, and Matilda is now on my lap. Also, MJ messaged me with a query about the kitchen cupboard project, so I've replied to him. All the feline members of the household are now asleep!
