Hello, all. My day is off to a good start. It's a bright day with a white sky, trees are not flailing around and the windchill is above -20C. I thought that I had missed Seniors Day at Pet Valu, but it's tomorrow, so I can still top up Germane's current preferred food with my discount. And I started my day by working on my course, and ChatGPT gave me a personal budget that is so much better than what I was using. Mine was too complicated so I ended up not filling it out completely, and it didn't highlight what I actually want to track. ChatGPT gave me a much better set up that I am likely to actually complete.

I'm sorry that your weather is not living up to its forecast, Kittykatt. Hopefully the sun will shine for you later.
Wise of you to measure instead of hauling the box and trying to cram it in.

Helia, cardinals must be able to withstand all types of weather. We have loads here too. There is a crepe Myrtle tree next to our bird feeder and they flock there and wait their turn at the feeder. It makes quite the image. Lots of red puffs (and females too) on a naked tree. So beautiful.

I’ve been looking at walking pads online. I have no idea what to look for but I think I could use one to make up my steps each day, especially when it gets warmer. I have Toby on my lap. How is it a 10 lb cat can put 100s of pounds of pressure on my leg and hit all of my pain points lol!

Bama - female cardinals (while not as striking as the males) are still VERY pretty. Males can put on quite a show with their territorial behaviour..

That would make a beautiful photograph or painting, the cardinals in a crepe myrtle.
Cats have very special abilities. No idea where that extra 90 lbs came from. Another dimension? His other 8 lives? Yes, I think that would explain it. In his other lives, he will send his 10 lbs to this one and he will appear to fly through the air without moving a muscle, as he temporarily weighs 0 lbs. Where did his weight go? To your lap, in this life.

Sounds interesting, Doggedly. I occasionally use AI to create or tweak questions on exams. I can input a text and the CEFR level I want. I never thought about using it to make a budget.

Kitkat and Dogged, the cardinals are very enjoyable to watch, the females seem to wait for the males to eat before going to the feeders. The backdrop of the tree highlights their coloring now with the bare branches as well as in the spring/summer when it’s in full bloom, a lilac color that complements the red feathers and bright orange beaks. I love seeing them all year.

Kitkat, yikes to an earthquake, grateful it seems to be a small one.

Dogged, you’d think I would understand all of that dimensional talk with my Star Trek education but it’s beyond my comprehension still just say “mmm hmmm” in a smart sounding tone.

Helia, your chili sounds like the perfect meal today. Hope you can enjoy a quiet evening to regroup for the next social interaction. Aw, happy birthday to your dh!
