Hoping for some dry spells for you, Kitty. Good luck with the freezer! Hmm... did dh take your response to him well?
trissie, seems I see many physical adults behaving like children lately. Sometimes, I have to admit, I think I do too! LOL! A family movie night sounds nice. If it's too scary, we all now know that DBD has the laughing farting unicorn to ward off her fears! :D
FFB, that is a serious cashflow issue. Maybe you can get a nap or some extra downtime today to make up for poor sleep last night? Enjoy the fresh bread! I feel very envious.
Enjoy the bball practice, L Ann. Will you be reading during it? :)
Kitkat, I saw a small flock of robins here a few weeks ago, right at the beginning of the cold spell. I hope they flew south - I was so surprised to see them. Sounds like a good choice for your classes. I should try yoga again; I'm not very good at it.

It is very cloudy and 12*F (-11.1 C), which is fairly warm compared to recent morning temps we've had. It looks like tomorrow will be very sunny!! :) I think I'll go to the gym and jog today and plan on a walk outside in the sunshine tomorrow.

Today: I'd like to get in a trip to the gym this morning, and then I think I'm watching Fable 12-1. I'd like to finish NY cards, put in edits to the BR Exam, spend some time writing, and work on guest beds. I think a very short trip to WF is warranted; we're almost out of milk. Dinner will be leftover chicken chili, rice, and a green salad.

Next:
- order more exercise pants - I really like the last pair I got!
- back exercises
- dress to jog
- head out to the gym

Later:
- jog at gym
- WF
- home: s2s and self care
- make the bed
- tidy the kitchen
- 12-1 Fable
- LUNCH
- payroll: put in edits to BR Exam
- NY card progress
- writing time (at coffee shop?)
- make 1 guest bed (maybe 2)
- dinner: chicken chili, rice, salad
- after dinner clean up
- duolingo
- update health apps

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - still very high
- email deletions; weather website
- finances: filed some giving receipts online, checked bank accounts

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES
Sat 12-1 Fable
Sun Church (which one?) / 6 - host Sunday dinner for up to 8 people/ Dinner: pizza, rot. chicken, soup

Morning all. Yikes frenchie that is worrisome the work situation. I too hope it either solves itself or better yet you find something closer to home with less stressful coworkers. Enjoy your day off with the kids.

Trissie hopefully you'll get some peace and conflict resolution at work too. I feel like all that stress is not helping you feel rested. And you are always on the go.

Woah good morning lann and helian and kitkat. All while I was typing.

A couple frustrating things yesterday too.. he may have been joking around yesterday but he's talking to the wrong group of female coworkers.. πŸ˜†. Both guys should have coordinated their breaks better and in a slow day we ended up selling 2 appliances at once.. he looks at us and figures what's with us we can't do the carryout? Umm you're stronger than all of us? And we can't 2 of us go leave the till at the same time? Out on the dolly is one thing up to the vehicle ?

Anyway enough work drama.. there's plenty of that. Off today. Only thing on my agenda is go this morning once ds is out and feed ds 27 and ddil pets. They have an extremely crazy aussie shepherd wound up like a spring set loose and bouncing everywhere. At least the 3 goldfish they just got are tame lol. They are at her parents place for her sister's wedding reception.

Other than that I guess we'll see. I should do some cleaning and declutter. Dh has had the week off. It has seemingly been an introvert recharge week. A couple small things but I think mostly just quiet house to himself week. So it depends if I can get motivated.. whb.. cleaning up after the ornery cat family.. mopping. Office is chaos and I know it needs declutter and deep cleaning but it's mostly his stuff.. need his help. I could fix and do up my craft room. Closet.. bake or crochet and music and shopping and nothing... which is good sometimes but boring and frustrating other times.

I think a soak is in order first.

Soak in tub instead of shower
Finish qt
S&s both baths and reboot laundry
Take sheets off bed and wash

Empty and reload dw
Finish tidying kitchen all the way
Make some muffins or something

β˜€οΈGood morning!

Laura, looks like you have some fun things in mind to negate the negative work experience.

Helia, lol at the farting unicorn, I had forgotten about him/her.

KitKat, sometimes the body just wants a good stretch.

LAnn, the storm missing you is very good news.

Kittykatt, hope you can get out and about between showers and they aren’t an all day thing. Lol at dh telling you something you have to do, that usually means it’s not gonna happen here for quite awhile unless my dh handles it. They never learn. :P Thanks for the start today, and yesterday too. I think I gave the wrong person credit when it was you oops.

Trissie, aren’t people interesting? That’s all I will say about coworker. I’m so glad you mentioned anemia, I’ve been feeling drained lately and haven’t really thought about it, I will focus on my diet this weekend and see if that helps. I do log my meals and am eating under my daily calorie requirement but feel full so didn’t think much about it. Might get some chicken livers today or tomorrow.
I watched a documentary on Elie Wiesel the other night and it hit hard, so much gets forgotten. A reminder of the past can be a good thing for the generations unaware.

(((Frenchflybebe))), I hope the work situations work themselves out soon and don’t carry over to home life anymore.

Just got up about an hour ago, had multiple surprises to clean up, then I climbed back into bed so now I can start over fresh. :)
I’m going to go weigh before I forget and make breakfast. Bbl.

Good morning/ good afternoon, L.Ann, KitKat, Helia, Laura and Bama!

So glad you'll miss the snow, L.Ann!

KitKat, it was only indoor painting,.and only one.wall of the sitting room. I kept the heating on,.so the paint didn't take too long to dry. :D

Helia, I'm not sure what DH thought, or if it even computed. He was looking for the "right" sweatshirt to wear today.

Laura, I'm sorry you're having no problems at work too. IMHO, a strong young.man should definitely be helping carry out appliances for customers.

Bama, this made me smile. :D In all fairness to DH, he has recently learnt to clear up furballs by himself, and not just come and tell me about it and expect me to jump! At least the freezer is only a couple of times a year. :D

This morning I managed a longer walk than I had planned, the sun actually felt warm on my back, :D and I got back just before the rain started again. And I've taken the rubbish down to the bins and had a few minutes in my.front garden , all without getting rained on.

I've taken every out of the freezer and cleaned behind and underneath it. I'm currently waiting for the ice to completely finish defrosting, before I wipe it out and out everything back. I only.found one item that needed using up -the end of a tub of very nice coffee ice cream- and there really wasn't enough for two, so I've eaten it. πŸ˜‹

When I've got even back in the freezer, I think I'll clean out that cubby and I need to quickly run the hoover round downstairs.

There's always something surprising one finds in a freezer, isn't there, kittykatt? :-)
yay for not being in the way of the storm, L.Ann!
stay warm, kitkat!
how did DNiece like her farting unicorn, helia?
lauralind, I see work drama is going around!
Bama, low iron levels could definitely contribute towards feeling tired, and it's an easy fix. As is magnesium - I did quite well in the summer when I'd pop a fizzy tablet into my water bottle before heading to work. But in winter, I make myself a travel mug of tea, so I've fallen out of the vitamin habit.

trissie, very sorry your co-worker is behaving like a kindergarten kid. You seem to be productive with this weekend at home.

kitty, congrats on your progress with the freezer - you deserved a treat !

kitkat I envy that pup napping in front of the fire.

Bama, sorry for the surprises in the morning.

Laura : baking and crochet and music, the perfect weekend reset !!

L.Ann I hope the storm stays away.

helia I would gladly send you some of that fresh bread  Cheese and bread are two things we French people can be grateful for. Not great for health, but not the worst either. I hope you get plenty of sunshine soon.

Hi to anyone I forgot and any lurkers !

It's sunny now. DS10 just left the house to play with DNeighbours T-- and R-- while the weather is nice. DS7 has a handball "tournament" with local clubs, we learned it this morning, MrNG drove him there. I went to the library earlier with DS10 so we have a bounty of books and comics. And right now the house is empty and quiet ! 8-) 8-)
But the washer just beeped, so I guess I need to get moving a bit.

TADAs
wake up DS7
feed them, get them ready to go at 9.30
sports for both while I buy bread at our favorite bakery
back home, cooked lunch, we ate
MrNG and I cleaned up
quiet time, reading by the fire 8-)
library with DS7
started a pre-wash in washer

TODO
regular lol in
some cleaning somewhere
some Zone work
lol out
maybe another lol in ?
anything I can get done from the weekly list
pizzas in oven for family movie night - Hotel Transylvania 3, probably (after the 1 and 2)

Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt. Maybe your DH and friends will admire the historic pier from a safe distance? I hope that the trip is a successful one.
I think that painting a wall is a big win, and I would fully expect you to spend the rest of the day admiring your handiwork.

It's no fun getting up in the dark, FrenchFly, but at least you keep the sun an hour later than the eastern end of your time zone. :)
Your work situation is definitely worrying. Does your country's employment insurance include severance for employees of bankrupt employers? Canada does. It doesn't match what you would get if you were let go from a solvent employer, but I had a df who got four or five thousand dollars from it, which makes a big difference when between jobs.

trissie, I'm glad that Drama Guy is turning down the drama.

It looks like we are getting a break from snow too, L.Ann, and the worst of the cold too. We are up to windchill of -20 C today, so not balmy but an improvement.

Hi, kitkat. Changing classes sounds like a sound strategy.

I am up to the end of Page 1. Time to get up again.

Pssst... Bama... the sun's up.

Saturday
Cut up box for napkins
Checked laundry. Put away laundry bags.
Rearranged drying laundry
Cleaned up after dog.
Folded up clean shopping bags and put them in purse
2nd shelf of entertainment centre: emptied out DVD/CD basket, dusted all and checked if I still want them
