Thank you for starting us off today Harriet!!

I've swept and mopped the bedroom and that litter box has been deep cleaned.
I've mopped the pantry and that litter box is currently getting deep cleaned.
Next up will be sweeping/mopping library and deep cleaning that litter box.

ALL of the cats went outside. The 2 older ones have been out twice. All 3 have had their morning treat.

Dh and I have had our coffee and hot tea. Dh has gone back to bed.

Dh's phone is full of pop ups/spam/whatever he has downloaded. I will be taking his phone to get cleaned up later this morning. I would like to be at the booth in the mall when they open at 10.

It's sunny and cold here this morning.

My roses are blooming yellow ones old type that do only bloom once a year.
Raining here today.
I saw that one rose I thought died is coming back from the root stock I suppose so it was a surprise, there was another one
else where that came up too.
Lilacs are blooming here too the fragrance is lovely.

I'm repurposing a planner for my art and creative persuits on topics and projects rather than day and date focused.
Dson brought KFC that I'd asked for a while back so that's some of my meal plan.
So glad I did not buy food yesterday!

New glasses are working for this post with out making it bigger the transitions type ones.
Yea! The ones for close work good for my journal.
Next I'll try the ultimate challenge threading the sewing machine needle!
Success! Yea!

Be brave, Nancy! The ultimate challenge!
I know I look so silly threading mine.
Glad you had success.

Optometrist told me it takes days to get used to new vision.

Your floors look maaaavelous, Cathy!

Good morning, blessed. Hoping you and your dmother have a good day.

I left the front porch light on last night thinking it would be protective, perhaps, of the still-in-pots plants that I left there near the door. We know from experience that some varmints crave eating the roots or maybe the grubs and smaller nematodes, etc., that are at the roots. They were fine all night.

The light does bother me a little through my bedroom window, but knowing it was for a purpose, I was fine with it.

Today is more planting and when all is well shaded, maybe the first round of foliar fertilizing. This evening testing out watering.

Good morning and Happy Earth Day.

I missed LucyLee posting last night. #JS

I had a productive day yesterday so am expecting to be a little off my game today. I am going for progress....not perfection.

Both teens were launched with light hearted chit-chat. DH is up and going. I did my morning wellness walk and now enjoying the energy that comes from that.

Good morning and thank you Harriet for starting us!

I'm heading to the temple cemetery in a few minutes to do a tour with the guy they're interviewing for interim rabbi - guy who is prez now will be there also. I hope I can get in a word edgewise because prez thinks he knows everything, lol. He was going to do the tour himself but dh insisted that someone who knows something about the cemetery history should do it.

Yes, missing Lucylee.

Evening here went well. Nine people including us, gone by 9 p.m. or so. I am tired today.

I took dh's phone to the mall. The guy fixed it and got rid of all the spam and pop ups in less than 10 minutes. YAY!!

I celebrated by buying a book that I had been told wouldn't be in stores and only available on line. I went down that aisle and there it was! YAY!!

I went to Walmart to get a huge bag of litter. Then I turned a corner and there were some clearance things. Right at eye level there was a bolster pillow for less than $9. I brought it home and tool out most of the fibrefill and stuck dh's slightly smaller bolster pillow with a small rip on it into the larger one and crammed most of the fibrefill (?) back in. The zipper pull was missing which is why it was on clearance. I used one of dh's weird little tools and the zipper worked just fine. When I was done stuffing it, I zipped it right back up and put the tool back in the kitchen drawer. It looks like the letter J and is great for getting hair off of my vacuum cleaner brush head. Dh is happy with the new pillow. Another YAY!!

I bought more onions, so now we can have liver and onions for supper... I don't know if that deserves a "YAY" or not... I used to love liver and onions, now it just feels like too much work.

Twins - How did the meeting go this morning? Congrats on your successful evening with multiple guest.

Cathy - You are racking up wins today. YGG!

How do you cook your liver & onions? I slice onions and sauté them until caramelized then push onions to side of pan and cook the liver in the same pan. I've never timed it but would guess about 15 minutes to prepare from start to finish.

I was browning some hamburger meat to use later today and got a little heavy handed with the spices. Especially the cayenne pepper. Oops. Thankfully I like spicy food so at least it will still be eaten......just not by the family.

I dug out some onions yesterday a clump to put in diff plants.
Rinsed it off and not it's in a pitcher to draw before using it to cook with.
The only prob. with new specs. is it does not improve spelling ! LOL!

We have been out to the mail box and back.
Cool and wet out.
I put the coffee grounds and egg shells I've been saving for the garden in a hole that needs
to be refilled.

Worked on my notes & writing out assignment instructions for future use.
I have not done any knitting yet today.
Did some music appreciation.

Towels are done so I need to get em out of the dryer & fold them.
