Oh, that dog of mine! She pooped on one mat and peed on the other. Her perfectly clean pee pads still clean.

I don't have a snappy comeback for that, doggedly, but you have my empathy for cleaning up poop and pee!
My day at a glance:
met with city forester about 3 trees to be planted on mom's property - to replace 10 that were removed, but so much new concrete sidewalk that's all I was allowed (that's why trees were removed-grr)
Mom's roof was completely re-shingled today, after hail damage, so I was there watching off and on
WAtered my baby grasses
had HVAC guy check my AC - all was good!
Mowed my lawn
paid bills by phone, and in person at Kohl's
went to hospital to visit dfBS: Hospitalist came in the room before leaving for the night. We had a fruitful conversation about her concerns, then he showed me consultation note from the specialist. He seemed like he didn't quite know how to approach the subject so I had a serious conversation with her tonight - to introduce palliative care and hospice topics. (somehow dr didn't seem to know how to have the conversation - I guess nurses are better at some things...) He asked me to come back in the morning for rounds - be there about 9 - which means I need to go to bed - Have to be at bank pretty close to 8, to get something out of her lockbox at her request - and yes, she has signed permission for me to have access.
I've done >10K steps on my fitbit today, and I should do this more often - because it feels good!
