Good afternoon! Had a slightly interesting morning. DH had decided that today would be a good day to hike another stretch of the Buckeye Trail. Well, at the time he wanted to leave, it didn't seem like such a good day. It started a light mist, but when I asked DH if he wanted to take anything against rain, he said no, he'd be fine. Well, as we were driving to his starting point, the mist got heavier, then turned into a drizzle. Radar showed nothing, so we couldn't tell when it was going to pass. But it did ease up by the time we got to the start point. Then I was feeling doubtful because he hadn't taken his hiking poles. He said the terrain didn't warrant them, but I figured they would mark him as a hiker as he walked on roadsides (most of the trail is not paved, nor even dirt, just blue blazes on trees to follow along the roadside) through a very ritzy part of town (Taylor and Travis's neighborhood, if you can call anything with that many acres between houses a "neighborhood"). He said his water bottle would mark him as a hiker, and he was wearing a bright yellow t-shirt. So as it turns out, he neither got stopped by the village police nor run over, thank goodness, and the sun came out soon after he started hiking. He had an easy enough time of it that I ended up picking him up 45 minutes before his original estimate.

lucylee, if you are getting condensation inside your dryer, I wonder if you should check your vent?

I did not realize/remember, LadyM, that you got DS17 as a newborn. Glad these days are much less stressful. You've raised an amazing young man. (Though I must admit that my basis for that is what you've said about him :D -- still, you could be telling us all about how he has you tearing your hair out.)

blessed, do I remember correctly that like Rose, you've had success in putting one day's clothes in the dressing area?

I will have to check out the garden topic to see what you got, Harriet. I don't have much worth talking about myself, just keeping on thinning the plants as they grow.

I should have some lunch, but I'm not really feeling like much. I guess the Wegovy's working. I should at least have soup or something. Then dishes, then I should start a load of wash. Have a great day, everybody!
