We’re at the river this afternoon into evening. Started writing earlier and ended up leaving it on computer at home for hen we headed over here.

Ddog and I got in 3 laps this morning then did a short round of errands.

It rained for less than 5 minutes. Darn it... we need the rain for so many reasons. Farmers, fire fighters and just for people who need to be outside for whatever reason. Walking dogs or walking to their car in a large parking lot. The air is bad out there. Dh and I went out to water the garden and you could smell the nastiness.

Hoping blessed had a calm and easy rest of her day.

Company came to see us. First by surprise, dgsW was suddenly mowing the lawn - we thought he was still on vacation.
Then, HRH's dmother AND her sisterD came to visit  what a surprise. We don't think D has ever visited us at this house.
Then, in the door came dgdC with presents they had brought from trip.
And her Daddy came and weed-eated. (I haven't checked if my saved plants are okay, lol, just glad to have it done!)

Even though I wouldn't plan it, I think it was really nice to have two directions of family here at the same time. It's good that folks know each other, catch up. The children were very attentive to the sisters!

We can't prove we had any rain here.

I've done some sewing. Enough to post and maybe update.

Laundry and kitchen dailies done well.

Trying to understand the World Cup news, I'm convinced one headline I saw was in error. But maybe things are more complicated than I think - WonderBoy will be able to explain, I'm sure.

We had variety for supper, sharing. I did get to have an actual July Tomato Sandwich for lunch. Yay for that.

I did get in two naps today.
Was tired I guess.
Did catch the show in French had so focus on it and read the subtitles.

Dinner was snacky the rotisserie chicken was not thawed out enough to have much more than a wing.
Turned off the a/c for a bit but it's stuffy now.
I did go out to the plant change and fetched my older sprinklers the isolating one is not doing well.
So I did more in the front yd. with that.

It's not as smokey but still effects me more than I'd like to admit.
Just being inside I think.
Have a good nite all.
