So, the rep says give it 24 hours and his fix should be in place and issues resolved. Maybe before then.

I also posted that in Fun and Games, where some trouble had been mentioned.

We popped out this a.m. on errands and while a couple towns away we also dropped by a "dollar" store. We found a few small, sensible items : gloves for work, gloves for garden, scalloped-edge tissue for gift wrapping, a Hallmark bday card, set of plastic scrapers, set of wood rulers. Things there are either 1.25 or 1.50. There were some obviously "larger" items for more, well-marked so you wouldn't mistake them. I was virtuous and didn't buy any kitchen towels or potholders, lol! (I did try a cute kitchen glove on, but resisted!) Now wishing I'd bought extras of the work gloves, which seem like the best value we saw, but I know where they are.

It was a good middle-of-the-road shopping spot for HRH and me both. He perused hardware and was not miserable, lol.

Mailed the Desk Day I finished up yesterday.

I have not had time to turn around twice today. Next I need to text neighbor about dropping off the donation items. My friend V just left, we were working on putting together events for congregants to meet the interim rabbi. And I got home from cemetery and temple about 30 minutes before V was due here.

Texted neighbor about donations, will do that in 15 min. Dog is ready for walk.

Harriet - THANK YOU!

We made a quick trip to the city to do a couple of things.
** Medical equipment place called and said DH CPAP arrived from the factory. We have been in process of getting it repaired since March 27th. The factory couldn't repair it so they sent a new CPAP and charged us the quote for repairing the old one. Instead of $1800 we paid $266 for a new cpap. It was a nice ending to a long drawn out repair process.
** Stopped by Sam's and picked up a window a/c. DD15 bedroom furniture needs to be rearraigned before it is slipped into the window but at least the unit is here and can be quick fix when needed.

DS17 is in the process of cleaning out a lot of excess equipment used when we owned the car wash YEARS ago. IMHO this is a good use of DS17 down time in between jobs. Not only are we making declutter progress, but he is also earning some pocket money.

LadyM and all, I hope things will change, but as I recall, things were better right away at other times. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

We've had delivery of the bday present for Sunday afternoon, so I can get that wrapped.

Ds' children came by again. DgsW on his way to a bday party for a friend of his who used to be in my SS class. He says he's going to give him a money gift - they are getting too old to feel the same way about bday parties.

Camps - DgdC was full of more crafting stories from craft camp. DgsW will be going to a camp week starting on Sunday.

Got in yea!
We've had smoke here unhealthy for sensitive groups.
So I've been inside hiding from the heat and smoke.
I did listen to some pod casts.
Cannot seem to focus on a movie.
Did up dishes 2x today.
Had dinner.

Happily, I got back to sewing and made progress. Yelped when I got stuck with a needle but no pain in the hands.

Here comes the rain - we'll have 3 days of it.

lucylee, I thought of you when chatting with my grands. Both their camp experiences, for older and younger, are through church. They attend a rather large, sort of non-denominational one. One of the benefits of having a larger group - plans that can sign up enough children to merit vans traveling, scheduled weeks of fun stuff. Dd27 never had those growing up in our small one, but I guess there were benefits of knowing everyone, feeling comfortable.

Twins' has a large enough congregation to be scheduling varied events when the interim rabbi comes. It's really a different vibe between large and small.

Yipes, blessed, so glad the internet trouble was brief and you are connected!
