next week problably. Got two people contacts for today in.
Watered grass in back.
Got a letter out to the mail before it came.
Planner stack has been delt with also put away too.

My no sew day is today.
I have fish in mind for meals specifically dinner today.

I've been working and worrying on cemetery stuff. I need to write the two checks for the HOA. I did lie down for a few minutes but didn't rest.

It has been a different kind of day here, but all-in-all it has been good. Two different doctor offices for two different teenagers. We bought food twice from two different trusted cooks, plus did a grocery store walk through to get essentials.

The heat is constant. 100+ every day. I just saw that we are 17" behind on rain. So......there is some silver lining in our non-existing clouds = our humidity is low. IMHO, dry heat is much more comfortable than high humidity.

It makes me sad to think Ramblin' has had so much trouble getting to check in with us. Looking forward to being able to hear from her.

I've been advised, for what it's worth, that the 503 error message refers to issues "upstream" from our site, or, on a large scale. I will keep contacting, reminding that we still find ourselves having recurrent difficulty.

So glad to hear dd15's pain can be handled with OTC meds from now on, and that you are all reassured.

Did some tidying outside as we are between rains.

Got the sewing machine rethreaded and worked to a good stopping point.

HRH ordered in Thai for supper. I called dd27 because I forgot which curry she always gets for me. Kaeng Massaman, which is actually Malaysian. It was quite good, however asking for less spice is somewhat futile. Needs one of those hot pepper symbols beside this one, lol.

Good evening (not yet good morning)! I am beating lucylee in, although if today was her party day, she's probably wiped out.

PODA: late morning pedicures with dfriend K, followed by lunch. Passed a lemonade stand on the way home. Immediately felt guilty about not stopping (ya gotta stop at the lemonade stands! -- remembering my futile attempt as a child) and once we were a bit farther down the road, decided to go back. Except the suburb we were in has lots of winding streets. After turning this way and that, we found ourselves along the next major road, going in the opposite direction! Did find the lemonade stand again and got myself something -- very good. Not fresh lemons, but still tasty -- she even had flavored syrups. At that point, I used the GPS to get home! Dropped K off, then got gas and went to pick up DC from play rehearsal. I got there half an hour after the scheduled end time and waited another half hour.(This is par for the course; they really need to schedule rehearsals for three hours, not two.) Don't remember what I did between getting home and the start of the ball game, in which we were badly beaten. Watched yesterday's and today's Jeopardy with DH, then went downstairs to redo yesterday's wash, which I had left in. It turned out it never finished its cycle, so it needed to be restarted anyway. I waited downstairs, restarting things as needed, and finally got it in the dryer. Now I'm here -- and it is "good morning" here, at least officially. It is now DC's birthday! Going to take scissors and a vase upstairs with me so I can remember to cut some flowers tomorrow (this) morning. Then I hope I, and all of you, have sweet dreams!
