Some more TaDas here
  1. All trash and recyclables handled
  2. towels laundry complete, folded, put away
  3. trip to get dgdC's back-to-school present from mailbox (delivery truck put it there - inappropriate)
  4. mud room swept

Thanks, blessed, you've reminded me to give my sink another going-over with the soft-scrub-with-bleach. I have a white enamel sink, original to the house.

What if you tried to get your ddog's attention to the fencing, reached out to it and reacted to a shock (you're a good actress for puppies, I'm sure). If you never act that way anywhere else, ddog might begin to think of the shock as having a space/place and blame the fencing? Maybe ddog doesn't put place and shock together? Otherwise, your ddog may just have a high threshold for human ideas.

lol, Twins', a category of tasks for me would certainly be, "things I have not talked myself out of yet".
oh, I need desk cleaning, both work and crafty, since it would appear I'm NEVER done with either.
literally having to catch items sliding from desk while typing now. My desk is like onions and ogres, it has layers.

It is 110F outside and I don't care. I don't want to know what the "feels like" temp is. I still went for my hourly mini walk....just because I can do it pain free now!

I check the 10 day forecast every morning looking for a drop in temperature. I've heard the weather models are showing we will drop into the 90's on August 28th, but I haven't seen it officially declared. In the meantime our temps are predicted to be between 103 - 110F every day. It has been over a month since the last time we received any rain. . Our weather is stuck in the same range of hot & dry temperatures for over 30 days. B.O.R.I.N.G. This isn't a complaint but a fact.

It is almost time to get DD15 from school. I'm still getting used to this school schedule. Since we were forced to switch from 4 day school to 5 day school, our school days are shorter. DD15 gets out of school an hour earlier than before. They changed our state law to have minimum 173 days of school. This semester is 5 days a week but then starting in January (next semester) we switch back to 4 days a week. 173 days & 1,086 hours of instructions is required by our state law.

Where my Tad A was I got to spend the day at the beach again. Just what I needed.

I had all my morning routines done before I left made lunch for myself and it had sweeties ready for when his companion showed up. Now I’m off to take a shower and wash all the sand away. I had a great day.

I don't know if my high energy level today is from experimenting with instant coffee crystals or from not dealing with crippling pain.
Either way - I'm loving it.

So wonderful to have good energy going, LadyM!

We're on our third page of ta das for today - a wildly successful day in the village!

RR getting to enjoy the sun and sand, what a treat! Glad you got out.

Nancy, is it getting to be winter squash season already? Or summer squash? we use a lot of butternut squash and acorn squash...

Waving to all!

The last 7 days have been super challenging with medical people being in our home to do EEG, DH seizure amnesia episode, my back muscles locked up and then sciatic nerve pain.
Maybe. Hopefully. We are on our way back to normal.
It is 8pm and I am still energized, feeling good, mentally clear, and getting things done.
It has been a good day.

Ds' children stopped by and dgdC very much likes her new tie-dye cotton tee shirt. This was the only one I found that didn't have mostly poly, so HRH and I both thought it was our first choice.

We had snacks for them, and asked about their school days. So far, so good. Their mom was headed out for the evening with friends, so they were going to be hitting the books with just their dad this evening.

I got a photo of the twin fawns, which I've been sort of trying to do on and off. Sadly, they lost their spots just within the last few days - it's so interesting, a growth spurt, too. The chance for a "baby picture" was gone.

lucylee, you were going to have a very busy day today. Hope the two group meetings were good. How did your hair look?

Happy for all those feeling better or with more energy.
