Spotted Germane had peed off the edge of the pee pad before the river had time to flow far

Borrowed Germane’s washed fleece throw to use as clean surface on bed
Opened the bag from the laundry service to start packing
Set overnight bag up on laptop table
Counted, packed the tshirts
Germane tried to get my attention to show me that she had used her peepad perfectly
Gave her a piece of cheese as a treat
Germane standing in front of her dish to show me that it is empty
Made a small helping of her dog food and stewed potato
Germane is gone
Germane is standing in the dining room area near the piece of cheese that fell out of her mouth waiting for it to jump back into her mouth

Briefly panicked thinking that the laundry service had lost my yellow blouse. Checked laundry cart and found that I never washed it.
