I LOVE the list, Kathryn! Thanks!

I am trying not to eat anything until dh gets home and we can have supper.
I did get the light replaced on the Tahoe... talked to dmom... and otherwise have done pretty much NOTHING today.
Ooohhh -- I s2s! I can mark THAT off the list, too!!!

DS is coming over tonight to try to copy football films onto his iPhone. Doesn't know how that will work, but he says it's worth a try. DH has some old films (16mm? reel-to-reel) and I think they are both hesitant to risk sending them off somewhere. DS is going to experiement w/filming while watching. Sounds kinda iffy, doesn't it? We'll see how it goes.

I also talked to local S*ears store to see when my vacuum cleaner would be back. They don't know but expect it next week. They were supposed to call me back w/a service order #, but they never did.
Tomorrow is another day.

About the google logo: don't forget to click the feet and the wing.

Payroll is almost over, I am checking out the new features in the version of software I installed.

Ooops.
I was still pursuing the vacuum cleaner... called another 800 number. THEY called local store & got service order #.
Now local store woman, who I know pretty well, thinks 800 # people are fussing at her & checking up on her.
* sheesh *
Plus she is probably pretty aggravated w/me, AND probably thinks I am a little obsessed w/my vacuum cleaner.
Which, apparently, I am.
* sheesh * :roll: :oops:
Tomorrow is another day.

That Google logo is just too cute. Thanks for pointing out the wings & feet part, too, Elizabeth.

***Plopping down in chair.....putting feet up.....enjoying the sounds of silence****

Hair cut turned out okay. DGS16 said it was awesome. I'm glad that he is glad. :) Each time they ask me to cut their hair, I always offer to take all of the males to a "real hair stylist" but they decline and ask me to please cut it instead. I was taking LO to get his hair cut because he was a such a wiggle worm but since he is a little older I can cut his hair now too.

DH took the 4 young'ens to church. I stayed home to finish up some thanksgiving dishes and clean up the kitchen. DGS14 helped me cook tonight's meal (grilled chicken breast, a huge rainbow salad and cowboy beans).

Thanksgiving dish status -
** 7 dishes completed
** 2 dishes in progress
** 4 dishes to be made tomorrow.

DSon called and said they would be here tomorrow and will be spending at least one night with us. That means DGD11months old and i can do middle of the night feedings together. :D

Movie was good. Great ending.

Dinner was good. Dh really appreciated having pizza.

I did my singing practice and made dh practice it with me one time. He won't try to hold the notes and can barely hold for an 8 count at reasonable speed. I can hold for 16 if I really breathe ahead of time and lots of times will sing 6 bars of a quick piece on one breath. The musician actually cut the 12 count hold at the end of one piece to 8 because too many were running out of breath. I can't sing by sight reading or sing on key plus I have the devil of a time finding my notes without a lot of practice, but I can hold notes.

We scrubbed both Sunday's anthem and the one to follow and she inserted a lovely piece that I don't think is suitable for Dec. 4. I'd love to sing it on Christmas Eve but, to my way of thinking, anything that has the baby already here is unsuitable for Advent.

I need to do something productive this evening and then a decent bedtime.

The pies are done. Now I need to make the refrigerator dough, so I can make the rolls tomorrow.

The loan officer called at 6:30. Apparently the home inspector sent her a copy of the results but neglected to get one to dd2 or us. We will go in to the bank at 9 Friday morning and make a list of the things that need done. Several things have to be done before we close. Still no appraisal.

I am getting tired so I better get that dough done.................

My brain has zoned out. The last item on my 5x5 was partially done - I located the photos on the computer and chose the one I would send IF we decide to include any in cards. But I don't think my brain is up to the task of uploading right now, so I'll postpone until tomorrow.

I guess an incomplete 5x5 would make you think, gee, can Harriet not do 5 things a day?

BooCoodles, however, is the final total of interruptions, detours and surprise chores accomplished.

I exercised this evening, to counterbalance a poor supper of silly enchiladas and sweet potato chips. Don't try to find logic there - none to be found. Of course I also walked what seemed like miles this morning shopping, so I'll count that, too. Have I already noticed things I neglected to buy? You betcha.

Everybody enjoy the parades in the morning. What we need is some over-the-top floats and vivacious marching bands. The Macy's balloons are being inflated as I post, so best of luck to Snoopy and entourage there.

Dinner is done I'm wondering if we should bring the chairs up or have the grand kids help and do that.

Dgd was glad to see her mom when she came to get her today. Dgd put her own shoes & sox on she only put on one sox! So cute that explained why we could not find one of them when we went to put her shoes.

Lilac my mom & granny used to make refrigerator rolls!
Harriet I bought pies too and only 12 rolls one each with one left over done want a lot of left overs here either. Dd is bringing the taters. H. is trying to figure out how long to bbq turkey so we had to read on the label so he knows when to start the grill.
I'm going to wash and start chopping up some celery.
Dinner is done and I've cleaned up after wards.

H. decided today he would be the food police!
I have my doubts if the way hubby wants to set up the table will work or not but did not really want to move stuff around until the morning.
