I'm looking forward to today and the adventures that come with it.

Yesterday had several moments I hope forget but it also had several moments I hope to always keep in my memory. LO always wants to pray before our meals and he is so earnest about it. He typically starts his prayer by giving thanks for every item on his plate, listing them one by one. However he struggled being able to say "cheese quesadilla" so he stopped in the middle of his prayer and asked "how do you say this?"......we practiced saying it a few times, then he resumed his prayer.

I'm going to focus on the 8 D's today.

8D’s Status -

• Dishes -All dishes washed. Just a few items to put away (left to dry)
• Duds - 1 load dried & ready to put away. 1 load to wash/dry then everything will be caught up
• Dinner Meals planned & prep'd. Sausage/eggs, Talipia & rib eye steak are on the menu today-
• Desk - A couple pieces of paper from yesterday and today's MPB daily gross to process.
• Declutter -
• Delightful -

• Develop -

I hope to be able to report ta-da's as follows later tonight:

[ ] papers dropped off w/tax man
[ ] dmom's gift ready to deliver

Oh, I'd love to report some ta-das for today! Plans for the day:

-work at least 10 hours - I'm trying to stay even with my hours for last tax season - we started tax season a week later, but OTOH there's an extra day.
-two temple matters to edit Excel worksheets, and send emails
-call vet to reschedule dMacs's blood work which is scheduled for Thurs. I'd like to do in conjunction with Moe getting stitches out next Monday if possible.

I need to have a good work day. Yesterday dh and I made the last of the interior decisions on the house. I was already irritable with him about it all, then dd called telling me she was having chest pains again. So she was back at ER last night at school - not heart, not lungs, they told her chest wall so she has a follow up appt on Thursday with student health. I was ready for a good crying spell by the time we got through the house decisions, but I went back to work and worked on something for which I didn't need a lot of mental muscle for a couple of hours to get in my 8 hours.

I'm quite tired this morning, having stayed up much too late watching TV Normally, I could sleep in a bit on a Tuesday morning, but today I have to take three furbugs to the vet to be fixed. With any luck, all seven of the younger furbeasties will be gone for adoption within the next week or so.

I'd better get moving if I expect to have any TaDas for today! There's litterboxes to be cleaned, kittens to be corralled, and when I get back (after also stopping by the library), there's all sorts of other things to get done, too!

I was thinking there were instructions on how to acquire an avatar, but I can't find them. Can anyone direct me to them? Dh noticed last night that I didn't have an avatar and wanted to know why I didn't. I told him it's because I am not computer literate and he should know that. Anyway he told me he would help me (meaning he will do it) when I have instructions on how to go about it.

A drizzly and misty day. I am hoping to stay home and get something done. Dh will be home around 1:30 to get ready for a dr. appt. He has been having shoulder problems for several weeks. He is thinking it is a pinched nerve. After the dr. appt., he needs to go and renew his drivers liscense, because it expires on his birthday next week.

Lilac, is it up in the Tips How to's thread? I don't remember how I did mine. I did Google avatar and put in the size I needed; there's lots of free ones and I just picked mine.

My TaDa for today is that I got up and did my impression of a morning person. Had some desk chores done and kitchen cleaned up before I had to leave for volunteer work at the church. That wasn't long because we had a bunch of people.

Met DH coming out of town and swapped the suv for his dumptruck because he was going farther and the truck gets stinko mileage. I took the truck to 3 banks and got that chore done. Need to do some picking up around here next and make this place look presentable once again.

It's colder weather here this week will be back up into the 50's by the weekend looking forward to that.

Today's ta daa it's trash day yesterday h. filled a black garbage bag with shred-ings and was happy to say he got 4 "really full" boxes of stuff done this is starting to look better in the room
down stairs where it's kept yea for progress!

I love my new mini coffee pot it's fast efficient and when it pours does not leave spills yea!
Finished reading a book yesterday.
Have to do a store run today.
I have granny duty later on today.

Lilac - I think any picture can be used as your avatar as long as it no larger than 80x80 pixels. MS Paint is on most computers and can be used to resize a picture.


8D’s Status -

• Dishes - Breakfast dishes washed. Kitchen in MM
• Duds - last load washing. everything else hung up and put away
• Dinner - Talipia ready to cook for lunch. Salad made. Beans warming now. Rib eye steaks laying out to finish thawing
• Desk - paperwrok in progress
• Declutter -Closets are my focus for this week. Will be giving them at least 15 minutes attention today
• Delightful - hum....interesting....this is to remember/encourage me to have some fun every day. I am not thinking of anything fun which is just wrong IMHO. Working on this D

Good morning! I did not find the kids magazine yesterday. I picked up some in LR, but did not do the sewing room. I desealed in the bathroom, but did not do any sewing on Bug-A-Boo. My list was too ambitious I think. I found my next crochet project, took out trash, and folded a LOL. It is cold and windy here in the Albuquerque area. Tonight is Girls' Night Out and will almost certainly be Chinese food followed by Chuck E Cheese. Tomorrow, I have to take DD10 to Girl Scouts so XDH can attend a dinner.

lucylee: Desealing means digging the sealer out of the joints of the bathtub in preparation for resealing it. The old sealer was cracking and would, if left alone, probably get water into my walls. Definitely even less fun.

Payroll task is more flowcharts.
