OKay Monday

Post by Twins' Mom »

Today we join OKay and her dh as they face a difficult court trial (and a personal trial.) You and your entire family will be in our thoughts for a permanent resolution in the best interest of dear LO.

We will be there with you in our thoughts and prayers today.

After my good intentions last night, dneighbor knocked on our window to tell us they had a fire in their fire pit, so dh and I went out to join them, and I didn't get much done. It was beautiful out - the ribbon of light over the mountain in the distance, clear sky, the moon, some stars visible. After I got into bed, I realized I also didn't send the bulletin article to the editor - this time it's a reprint of the Rosh Hashanah address, so I just needed to do a little editing and send. So I just managed to do that.

Before work I need to get the house straightened for dcleaning lady. While at work, I have a dental appointment at 9 a.m. (the office is next door to my office.) This afternoon after work, I need to pick up just a few groceries and make cookies for the break-the-fast. I need to be at temple tomorrow at 7 p.m. after working most the day. Between now and Wednesday a.m. I need to write a Yom Kippur address for the congregation. So I'm feeling a little under the gun, but fortunately (or unfortunately?) I work best under pressure.

Will have OKay and LO OMM (on my mind) today.

OKay - Good Luck and (((Prayers)))

Twins - Whew and people think I'm busy! Enjoying Gods gift to us is never a waste, I'm glad you had fun with the Dneighbors.

Dee - I hope you had a safe drive.

My printer was saying that it had a paper jam even though it didn't and doing the nice things to get it to reset wouldn't work... finally came to the "Bang it" method. Need to get out of here. My neck is sore... probably to much head banging Saturday night.

Good Morning!

Today title brought tears to my eyes. You will never know how much I appreciate you letting lean on your shoulders while going through this. Thank you! (((Group Hug))))

Last night we a good time together with family. DMom cooked Indian Tacos and invited my brother/sister & spouses to join us. As we were preparing to sit down and eat, DSon surprised us by showing up about 12 hours earlier than we expected. There was abundance of happy smiles and hugs shared!

DSon left the house about 5:15am to go run a few miles. He said he would be back/showered and ready to leave with us by 8am.

Our lawyer called about 5pm yesterday and said she had been going through documentation since 11am. She was taking a break and would work on it later last night again. She had talked to all the witnesses yesterday and was checking in with us. I guess we are as ready as we can get. I'll update how it is going as soon as I can.

I was going to open with the exact same title this morning, so I'm glad you beat me to it, Twins.

Yes, Dear OKay, we are all in the back of the room with you today. Our prayers are for a quick and good result and that this will finally be done.

That was my thread title as well.

I'm awake. On the computer in bed. No good reason - I'm sore but not over sore. Busy day today so I need to get moving. We need eggs and some basic pantry items so I want to drive to the discount store in the Market Village and get them. The discount store is cheap enough that I'll save the additional gas. Plus I need pantyhose which means I need to go to a Walmart.

I could drive into the suburbs for this but the Market Town is on a more manageable scale and I don't feel like battling crowd.

I may treat myself to lunch out as well. There's a music practice at my house at 1 but I'm not sure I'm involved.
