I am going to have to get better about checking the calendar in MO.
Dd2 had scheduled a painting technique demonstration for tonight. No one had signed up for it. This afternoon one of the girls was calling to tell people that their orders were done. One lady said that her and some others were coming to the demonstration and she would pick hers up then. So dd2 called to see if I could watch the 2 little girls. I was going to watch them here but dh came home feeling like he was coming down with a cold or something. So I went out there. Today was suppose to be the cleaning ladys' first day. Dd2 hadn't told me that she had cancelled it, because too much needed done to make it presentable for her to clean.
When she lived in this house, I would help her clean, if needed, before an event, holiday or out of town company. But when they moved I made a pact with myself not to do it again. Believe or not, I have stuck to it. I have tackled dishes several times. Once dgd19mos was mobile, that ended that. You have to watch her at all times.
Dgd19mos spoke her first sentence tonight. Dd2 was still there and heard it. The girls were pretending to fix me food. She handed me a bowl and spoon and said
"here you go." When I told her thank you, she told me thank you. So we are working on you're welcome. Recently the child developement center had done testing at the daycare. Even though she didn't speak, they were not worried because she could follow directions, etc. They were aware that she is the youngest of 5 and doesn't have to talk.
Our Thanksgiving plans are kind of in the air. Dd1 and I had planned to have the dinner at her house with her in-laws, dh and myself. Then we would have supper here and do turkey sandwiches, etc. Then last Friday I was at the shop and dd1 stopped in. Dd2 asked what we were doing for Thanksgiving and we both kind of blew it off. Dd2 is under the impression that her dmil doesn't plan to fix holiday dinners. I thought it was just Easter but she ended up fixing it this year afterall. So dd1 and I have decided to just proceed with our plan and if they really aren't going to his parents, then we might have it here.
I talked to dsisil today. She is looking forward to fixing Thanksgiving dinner. She said it was easier to plan for it now that she knows it probably won't be her last. She is also planning to put up her big Christmas tree this year instead of the small one her dad had used.
Well I better start thinking about heading to bed..............

Well the washer drain was overwhelmed from the last load and I was mopping up that this afternoon now trying to get it to dry before I do much else about that. H. looked at it when he got home.
I had to change dinner plans to something faster.
My dsis called to check on me and that was good.
Made it to Ladies Bible study tonight it was good 4 of us there glad I went it was good to reconnect!
I have granny duty tomorrow most of the day it's supposed to be 50* and nice here sunny
if you miss me I might be doing something fun outside!
