Slow here too, I think just b/c I can.
Me too, Helia.

scattered, I consider getting a massage now and then something I do to keep my body and mind healthy. It's really more "body-work." I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders because I hunch at a computer so much.

Need to also schedule a hair cut and some highlights here. Instead of coloring all over, I'm just doing some blonde highlights on the top layer so it blends a bit with the gray. My old hairdresser encouraged me to keep the bangs, and I'm so lovin' life without having to have them trimmed every 5 weeks since I changed a couple of years ago.

Just rec'd email that Hillel of GT will deliver a Hanukkah basket during Hanukkah/finals week to my son in return for a contribution. I almost think he'd rather not be bothered by it, but it's a great idea. As it turns out, he will be coming home the afternoon of the Friday of Hanukah, I think the 7th night - I'll have to leave after I have CPE here ending at 4, so I'll likely miss the service and dinner at temple. DH is already committed to being the "Latke King" again this year at temple.

Must get going.....must get going.

Going to head out on errand run in a minute, with body work to follow. :D

Enjoy that massage, Twins. Boy I could use one. I was up while it was still dark using the bathroom, that hardly ever wakes me. My whole digestive system seems off but it is connected somehow to my back ache. It's those muscles on either side of my spine, all the way up and down. I took a couple aspirin and a fiber drink, trying to fix whatever is ailing.

Not much paperwork today, but what was there is done.

I've been sewing...well drafting anyway. I have 1 quilt to go and not much time. Last evening I was not successful in planning it out, but today after sleeping on it I sat at my calculator and figured it out. I can't quite "see" the finished product, but I will as I go along, and I have my square figured out. Washed a couple pieces of new fabric and I will start cutting soon.

DH wants me to juice the grapefruit tree. He isn't willing to do it himself. I'm not sure how I'll resolve this because I have no time for it. And beans need picked in the garden but I can't bend today. Tomorrow's another day, right!

Helia - I stole "poop in a group" from a member of my previous website... if you think about it awhile you will see that it is a cliche using "colorful metaphors" (as Spock would say).

Twins - I have been VERY broke for a long time, raising my DS's without CS  it is getting better now that DS20 has a job and contributes to the household. Maybe soon I will be able to afford it. BTW I wear a Bob with bangs and don't color my hair because I have been blessed with Dgma's wonderful silver gray hair so people think that I highlight my hair. I say that my hair color is "cinnamon & sugar" rather than "salt & pepper."

Harmony - I wish I had the time to get back into sewing, never made a quilt but my Mother use to make them all the time, I still have the DS's baby quilts that she made packed away for them. :D

Well, I finally got a few things accomplished and am finally waking up. DS20 is up and vacuuming the Mini-Van and checking the fluid levels. He really is a growing into a wonderful thoughtful young man. When I told him I would be taking the Van (which he usually drives) his first comment was that he would need to check all the levels. :)

How does laundry pile up so fast? I was done Sunday and now I have 2.5 lol's! Need to run 3 lols because I have uniform items in each lol. I went through my gentle bag (I have a hanging laundry bag that I use for my special fabrics) and pulled out everything that's washable and filled out the lol's. D ryel bag is going in Ernie, in fact I need to go pull it out and hang the stuff up.

Just skimming through, but I'll be back later.

I am headache free this morning...I want to get my xmas tree up and go through my decorations to see what I have and what I need. Haven't put up a tree in two years so I don't know what my inventory is like.

Harmony...I've tried taking magnesium ...still do...but that hasn't helped. Also tried fever few. Read that Alha-lipoc acid and Coq10 are suppose to help so I'm trying that out as well. But thanks for the suggestion. I'm pretty much opened to anything. One thing I am looking at is the amount of water I drink on a daily basis. I know I goes for days drinking 80 oz or more daily, and then sometimes hardly get 32 ozs in. My thinking is if dehydration causes muscle cramps then maybe it effects the muscles that surround my brain. Didn't drink much yesterday, but did the day before. See what I mean...no patterns.

Cyall later...Norma is on her way here and should arrive on Friday. However I know Mr. Guy is anxious to see Sweetie. When they travel from their home to here or reverse, there are people they stop to visit. Off to do my thing....

I did a foolish thing. DH bought me a Nook Color last Christmas. He also bought the paperback instructional book on how to use the Nook. Last Dec. 2011, I read chapters 1 & 2. Then, it's sat all this year, until last night. I found the section on how to make Shelves. So there I sat up until 12:50 a.m. making shelves. I put the Nook to bed, I went to bed, but tossed and turned until 2 a.m. The Nook was too much stimulation. However, I slept until 9:15 a.m. so got in enough sleep. After this, I'll read instructions when I get the gift- thoroughly!

PODA:
To shelve e-books
To crochet a stuffed cat for a dgrson
To walk
To eat more healthy
To answer letters
To re-address a holiday card from a relative who moved and just gave me her address
To enjoy the rain when it comes

Cowinkie, I'm glad you're headache-free this morning! :!: :D

Nancy, Your cookies sound delicious! :D

Sorry about your Dgson.

Scattered, "poop in a group" is so funny! :!:  If there is poop in our group, I'm not seeing any!

Twins, I hope that massage is very relaxing! :D

Harmony, I'm glad you're sewing. I bet the quilt will be beautiful, too.

Helia, Did you get your cat back? Oh, I guess maybe Pepper can in and another cat escaped? :?:

Dee, Enjoy your haircut, too. :D

Have a Great Wednesday of getting into the act! :D

Hello to everyone!

I woke up just before the alarm this morning. Dh had a fasting blood test and wanted to get there just as they opened. While he was gone I finished morning routine, although I left the hot dishwater because as soon as he came in he had pancake and egg for his breakfast, thus more dishes to wash.

Last week dgd10 said she wanted Papa to make cranberry-white chocolate chip cookies for Christmas. So last night he mixed up the dough and as soon as he ate he started baking. He also made another batch of plain chocolate chips to replace the ones we have eaten already! Of course, I had to sample each; they have passed the taste test.

I have done my room by room pick up/put away, swept front and back hallways, have a lol - kitchen linens - in washing, need to put in dryer soon.

From yesterday discussion re: ADHD.....my dgd15 has been taking meds for this for a long time. We noticed that around the age of 2 or 3 she had a nervous energy, always moving in all directions, always had to be doing. By the time she was in elementary school she was having trouble focusing on one task at a time, always wanted to talk or get up and walk around. The parents finally took her to dr. and she's been taking Concerta ever since. It really helps, but she sometimes fights against taking it as she has the side effects (appetite loss, tiredness, sleep problems) and doesn't like feeling like that. It's really noticeable when she doesn't take it! I always wondered if diet could have something to do with the condition.

I asked dh last night when we could get out the Christmas tree and other decorations. I just got a look that said: Oh, that again...do we have to. It's hard for him to get the totes down off the high storage shelf. So I thought maybe we could do it on Sunday when dfam#2 comes. The girls like helping decorate the tree, so that would work.

Dh is now taking a nap. I had a music cd playing - Mannheim Steamroller - and it's ended now so the house is totally quiet. I love it, but time to get a bite of lunch, then maybe do some sewing for a little while.

Harmony.... good luck with your new quilt design.

We made it home only 13 minutes later than my estimate. MPB installation crew isn't here yet so all is well.

While we were in town, the school called. LO fell while on the playground and is now the proud owner of a large bump on his forehead. I could hear him telling them he was okay and he didn't want to keep the ice pack on it. They thought he was Okay but wanted to make me aware that it happened. We are in countdown of less than 48 hours from his surgery time...... please no more illnesses or owies that could cause another delay! Wonder if I could wrap him in bubble wrap for the next couple of days?

I'm going to work on a couple submittals. I need to get them to the lawyer in the next couple of days.. The questioning this morning brought something to my mind and now it is nagging at me. I think I might be able to prove something beyond a shadow of a doubt. However, first I must find it. Five years ago I was using Outlook as my primary email software so to get at the possible evidence I'm first going to have to download and install Outlook. That is my next task. **sigh** Shaking my head because I just upgraded to 2013 version of MS Office this past weekend, but choose the home version because I didn't think i would have a use for Outlook. Hello Dear Ladies,

Been MIA for awhile. Busy time here with holiday shopping at work. Been stressful but fun too.

Had our Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday. Was very nice.

Still doing research and mailing it out to dsister in-law. Writing letters to her to as sometimes she is too wiped out to talk on phone.

going to send a vegetarian cookbook to her as she needs to cut back on animal products.

Waving to all!
