I'm also thrilled that LO's surgery is behind him and he can hear the TV! Ds had three rounds of ear tubes (w adenoids also out the first time.) It's an easy surgery with big results!

I feel rested! Wonderful napping as it was gray when I went to sleep. The sun is out now and I need to get busy. Car dealership called and needs to do additional work, I'd much rather they do it now than to need it on an emergency basis later, but it will be an expensive day. I may end up keeping the cute Fiat overnight.

Twins - turns out that one of the people I picked up today is a massage therapist, she is going to work on my shoulders tomorrow evening.

Ugh, what a day. Couldn't find a necklace to go with my dress for the black tie even tomorrow night, then figured out I had left my uniform hat in the sedan which DS20 had taken to his dental appt... raced out of the house to catch him and left my paperwork sitting on the DR table which I didn't figure out till I was half way here. Never got to the surplus store so I ended up having to buy my shoes here at the exchange for almost $70.00! Need to take a nap so that I can make a run to the airport at 10 pm.

May or may not catch-up in the next 24 hrs. Take care Villagers! I will miss you all!

Yes! The box was the stuff I ordered Sunday -- a nutrition book and 2 funny calendars for next year.

Well, I guess I'd better get back to carrying stuff up and down stairs. Let's see how far I get before I need a nap ...

Blessed: I have multiple filing cabinets and have extras since we inherited two from dh's parents (who also ran a business out of their house.) I use one drawer of the filing cabinet to hold the paper, stored in hanging file folders (one for labels, one for each colour of paper - we have a lot because I make a lot of flyers for church and other volunteer stuff.)

One of printers also sits on top of a paper holder that holds 4 different kinds of paper.

Frustrating day here.

Updated the mailing list and then started to print off labels. Open Office makes this awkward and then I ran into more problems when the test sheet didn't come close to lining up with the labels. Over an hour later, with dh's help, we finally got it but I was so worked up it wasn't pleasant.

I didn't get around to making my lunch until 2 (but did clean out the upstairs freezer and dusted the bedroom level while dh was messing with the printer.)

When I first started the labels, dh asked where the envelopes were for the calendars. Apparently, we don't have any. Then he asked where the Christmas Cards for the business were. Apparently, we don't have any (well, only 18.) I could have sworn I bought some last year but I guess it was the year before. I'll look at Costco on Tuesday but in the meantime, we have a few in the household selection of cards that may be nice enough to use for the business. Or we'll cull the list some.

For the household cards, I have about 30 that were sent from charities so I can use those up. Actually, it will be good to get most of the cards gone so I can focus on buying new ones.

Obviously, though, the newsletters aren't going out today. Now it will be Monday (because the post office doesn't send mail over the weekend.)

I'm off for my nap now. Dh is already down for a nap since he slept poorly last night.

I'm so glad to hear from scattered, and to hear that she found her massage. Makes my day!

OKay, I really do love my Honda Pilot - it's a good size for me and I like having something big enough to haul kids back to school or a load of stuff to Goodwill, but it's fun driving something small and cute for a change. He asked if I wanted a mini-van or the Fiat, and I was all over the Fiat!

That round made a world of difference, I'm going to run to the grocery while the breadmaker continues along.

bw2, in this house we have our printer in a closet by the garage door with the router for the house. In the adjoining hallway we put a narrow chest of drawers and keep printer paper in one of the bottom drawers, along with some other office type supplies. A top drawer has bandaids, antiobiotic ointment and thermometers. The depth of the chest is just right for the 8 1/2 edge of printer paper.

Update, decided to skip store run and do a work around. So.....
-make bed
-straighten mbr/bath
-swifter up some dog hair
-sort and start a lol
-deal with 10 pieces of paper in the stack by the computer

Yay! Yay! Yay! So glad to hear of good surgery and good results, Okay!

Forgot to tell of my little adventure yesterday. DH and I were headed in to chick filet and I headed for a door on the left, and he motioned to one around the corner so we headed for that. Just as we hit the corner a little guy (probably between 15 & 18 months old) came with toddler jog around the corner. He smiled & said something to me. I did a double take and said, "Whoa! Who are you with?" I turned and 'chased' him, trying to corral him before he went into the driving lane for the drive thru. Got him and looked around and about that time his Dad came looking for him. Seems the dad had been getting in his side of the truck. Little guy managed to get out of his car seat, open the door and scooted out. Cute as all get out, but am so happy nothing happened to him.

Dee - I'm glad you were aware and kept the little one from harm! WOW! At that age they are in 5 point harness type car seats. That little boy must have some Houdini escape capability .

Our pickup back doors have child locks on them. The big grandboys HATE them and frequently comment about having to wait for someone to open the door for them so they can get out. LO is probably responsible enough that we can turn the child locks off.

I can't get over how well LO hears now. He hasn't said "Huh? What did you say?" a single time today.
