Lynlee, the only place in Queensland we visited was. . . Cairns. Yes, the most tourist-y spot. We went out to snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef. And we visited Daintree Rainforest? --Is that the park north of Cairns where one can theoretically see a cassowary? We enjoyed the forest but didn't get to see a cassowary.
It is so cute when little ones are new walkers! I smiled at your grand niece, Booksaver. How sweet.
Lilac, are you in KS? I have family there, and I know how very windy it can be.
We have had our breakfast; the cinnamon rolls were very good. I think they need a little more cinnamon. I used 1/2 the dough, so I'll probably make a 2nd batch later today as I need to use up the dough. I can put in more cinnamon. I told dh I could use the dough for dinner rolls for our dinner, but he said he preferred bread from the breadmaker, so that is going now.
Yesterday: Dfriend A came over, and we went for a long walk and had a long chat. Well, I mostly listened; I'm a good listener, not such a good advice-giver - but she knows that and I think she just wanted to be with some friendly, accepting people. She stayed for dinner and went to the church service with us too.
I got dkids PJs wrapped and on their pillows last night before they went to bed. They all appeared this a.m. in their PJs; the girls just wore the pants, not the shirts, which I suspected. Size women's S for the girls is way too big, by about 6 inches.
I'm going to s2s; never got to that earlier. Then I'll prep the turkey.
Dh is going to go run today; I will join him with a walk. My temp limit for jogging outside is 35 and it is 30 now.
