I did not do new years res. this year I like what my cousin put up about being your self instead of trying to chang yourself. every year and failing!
It might be staying alive after a low last night. BS is up today I should not have had the banana or just half of it after all the other stuff but I was not snapping out of it and H. had to get to be! ACK!!! Big sigh.

Lynnl. I think is was you and others who ever it was thanks for the suggestion of putting roo in the garage got me to thinking and Red our roo is in the coop and I'm leaving them in until seven or past so they do not disturb others then after it's light and warmed up a bit I'll open up the coop door and let them out in the run. It's a new routine that is going well.

Now I need ideas on how to get him to stop pecking my little black hen that is a good layer.
We have been getting up early to turn on the chicken's light and it's not such a problem to get up on a regular work day now.

Laundry folded and put away. Breakfast and meds out of the way.

On to the ornament removal. I will work on it until 2 pm. Then I will shower, run a quick errand and get back to the ornaments, if not finished.

My brain is too foggy this morning and my body too sore to make this a working Wednesday.

I was confused as to why Harriet changed colours this morning and then wondered why she sounded so much like INE. I've edited that post slightly to hopefully save others my confusion!

On the other hand, it was nice to be able to ID INE by the tone of her post. Means I'm starting to get to know her.

I've unloaded the dishwasher and made my tea which I'm sipping now. It is decaf this morning although that might be a mistake if I want to get anything done. When I get more energy, I'll go off looking for a decongestant.

Today is my weekly basement chores. I'll try and get the pantry returned to normal and maybe even a quick vacuum. Under the couch in the basement are the photos that ds gave me last year (from Whitepoint, printed up on canvas) so they belong under the plexiglass on the kitchen table.

Thank you Harriet and Kathryn for fixing my first post. I was confused at first myself, but alls well now.

Good Morning to Everyone!!!!!

I got out of the house ok this morning, but I apparently wasnt prepared for actually work. I thought the 'issue' with my leg/hip was going to be no problem. Holy Moley was I wrong. My pain level increased dramatically after driving for about 40 minutes. Im sure the cold and chaos of returning after a short vaction didn't help. I have properly medicated now tho, and hopefully I will be good to go an hour or so.

I also stop at the pharmacy to see if they fixed my refill problem. Nope. They didnt. They are going to call my doctor and get all new scripts and start over I guess. Whatever, just get my refills done please.

Decided I am doing nothing this morning in respect of shingles, lol. Going to take a short nap, up for a long warm bath, wash my hair and eat lunch. That should pretty much fill up my morning. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. If time, I will check back in before I leave for my 2nd shift. Have a Wonderful day All!!!!

Good morning! I am up, s2s, and drinking my tea. We are all up except for dd17. Yes, it is 10 a.m. We are still on a late schedule. . . . Dh is working on prep for his class. He is teaching a class next semester that he's never taught before on circuit design? ; it is an undergrad class, and a pretty low level one at that, and he mainly teaches upper level/grad classes, so he wasn't thrilled with this assignment. However, the good news is that he is sharing it with another prof. He says he's forgotten all this stuff, thus the need to study and refresh his memory. In fact, he has ds reading the text book right now -- I'm not sure why. . . . . I've read a lovely chatty email from dsisil.

goals for today:
-finish getting caught up on laundry; this is almost a daily goal. :?
-dd14 to and from synch. swim. practice 11 - 1
-wrap gifts for last 2 packages
-get those 2 packages in the mail (yes, recipients know they are coming late and even suggested that)
-groc. store
-call dd14's accompanist to set up a rehearsal later this week
-exercise??

Dd14 may have a friend sleep over tonight.

I'm up!! That is all I'm probably going to accomplish for a while.

DH decided we are going up the hill and over the mountains to Prescott today. He won't let me order the fridge online until he measures it. We also have to go pick out the counter tops.

So my next chore is to get the addresses of the places we want to go so I can put them in the GPS. Last time we went to Prescott we drove around and around as we had no destination. He just wanted to "go there".

Before we leave I have to:
  • S2boots
    Breakfast and meds
    Dishes
Get all addresses and maps together
    Charge Kindle

Good morning Ya'll...

It's a brrrrr shiver morning here, 38* but you know I'm lovin' it. Can't complain cause I know what its gonna be like around here in less than 4 months.

I am meeting friends for lunch. I'm looking forwards to it. Last night....don't faint Lucylee...I submitted my application to sub at my old school. My friends keep begging me to visit during their lunch. Figured if I'm gonna drive all the way there I might as well get paid for it ;) I don't want to sub anywhere else, so IF my application is accepted it may be that I only work 2-3 days a month. We'll see. It was kinda weird filling out the application and answering questions like "what experiences have you had that would make you a good substitute. :D

I was up till past midnight looking for my ancestry's missing link. Think I found a new path to were I need to go. I got so bleary eyed that reading information became difficult. I need to look at what I found with fresh eyes. May do that when I come home later today.

Dinner is cooked...a repeat from last night...so I don't have to worry about that. When going to sleep New Years night, I casually asked Sweetie if he would take me to Disney Land some time soon and he said YES...I had to ask him again in the morning to make sure I had heard him right. He usually tells me he doesn't want to go. Anyway I had heard him right so now I need to do some research on it. I've been to Disney World many times, but the last time was 1987. I'm just a kid at heart sometimes who likes to play. Sweetie won't ride the rides, but he will wait for me if I do ;) \

Need to jump in the shower...Waving to ya'll ......ya'll enjoy your day..... Cya'll later.
