Forgot to say...LOL, Harriet, at the turned out pockets. DS used to like to walk in the room with his pockets messed up just to aggravate me. He knew I would say "fix those!"

Grrrrr...... walking over to sit in the cyber chairs where grandmothers sit who are frustrated with their grandchildren.

DGS17 just called to let me know his latest news. He & GF are suspended from school for the next 13 days for having 'relationship" during art class.


On other happier news.....the state health inspector just called. They are sitting at MPB wanting to do a surprise inspection. DH just left to unlock the MPB doors and show them around.

And just when I thought LO was ready to try eating a cracker.....the juice didn't stay down. He is back to trying to keep crushed ice down.

I KNOW this day could be worse in a billion ways.

...... Reminding myself to count my blessings.

I'm wondering if his upset tummy might be from the stress of the visit with his parents.

I'm home again. Was productive while out. Aside from the hair appointment, I also got some work done on the churches' annual report, did my volunteering and picked up the mail. Dh did a Costco run and an exchange on my Christmas present while I was volunteering.

Sent and received lots of emails.

Dh is at his drum lesson now. I'm debating napping for a bit before starting back in on the annual reports.

soup in crock pot on low as I have to head out to pick up dd younger. dd older is cleaning (esp) her room, as her friends are coming this weekend.

Can't stay off here today. Just counted 40 wild turkeys in the farm field across the way. Have never seen that many at one time. It is a sight to behold!

40 WILD TURKEYS?! Wow! That is a rare sight here too. It is somewhat common to see 1/2 dozen, but I'm not sure I've ever seen 40 at one time.

MPB passed health inspection without any problem. Inspector was very pleased.

I've called LO doctor office and they are going to call in some med (phenergan gel) that is rubbed onto wrist to help with the nausea. My primary concern is that he keep liquid down so he won't get dehydrated. I called DH and asked if he wanted to make the 50 mile drive to pick up the med or stay with a sick 4 year old......guess which one he picked?

LO hasn't seen his parents in awhile. His Mother saw him in late December 2012. His father hasn't come to see him in months. Without looking it up I'm thinking it was Sept 2012. I know of numerous times they have been within 2 miles of him, but didn't attempt to see him.

Hi everyone and Happy Birthday to Ivy! Today started with a 2 hour school delay. XDH brought DD10 to my house. She watched videos and played in the snow, while I got some extra sleep. She is still angry about Sunday. I did get her to school in time for some swinging before classes started. I remembered my lunch today, but it wasn't very good.

Tonight is Girls' Night Out with DD, but we cannot go to Chuck E Cheese because she got in troule last week. I will suggest the library. She also needs to do some science homework. After she goes back to XDH, I need to update Quicken, transfer money to savings account (our payday is the 15th), and put the trash out.

I realized last night I may not have enough yarn to complete my jacket. It is old yarn that I inherited, so the chance of finding a match is non-existant. I thought I had plenty! I need to finish the jacket and the Barbie dress this month, so I can start DNeice's American Girl outfit next month.

Up from my nap after a long a phone call with someone from church.

Dh is back from his drum lesson. Turns out his teacher is a friend of one of our new church members. They are building a recording studio in the basement of the church member's house. I'll be hosting the wife tomorrow afternoon and teach their daughter in Sunday School. Small world.

The lesson went really well. While dh didn't learn how to play this drum over the past year, the time he spent on youtube studying was not wasted and he covered about 3 lessons in one week because he picked up on the instructions so quickly.

Now to cook sides to go with out leftover chicken for dinner.

Not getting a lot done that shows around here. I did get one big project file cleaned out, sorted, shredded, stapled, filed and the rest tossed away. That was a big huge stack. Did some other filing.

Went through 12 magazines, put all in the recycle bin except for one page I tore out for DH and a cartoon for him, and a small square of info for me. Yay, my piano bench is clear finally (that's where they were stacked up, the big job file too).

I'm resisting a nap. Need to go eat.
