Getting ready to go to college town. Basketball game.
Still kinda edgy about everything... ddad... ddil's expected work schedule... just everything.
Slept good though. ;) I had strange, crazy dreams -- not scary dreams -- just weird, random things... but I slept great. I could sleep a while longer, too, if anyone would let me. ;)
Tomorrow is another day.

Not so much Swish as swath around here. I cut a swath through the Village membership list and tidied it up a lot.

If anyone you know has been 'decluttered' and wants back on, let me know. I'm pretty sure I didn't delete anyone who hasn't been here for at least a year, and if they posted, even longer.

Next time the Village goes down and I send out a mass email, Scattered, INE, OKay, Ivy and others who have been missing out on the mass emails will get them. We asked you all to update your emails last May or June and you did, but we didn't update our off-GoDaddy records so every time I sent a mass email out, 8 - 10 would bounce back.

Now to eat some lunch and then go for a hike with dh. Dd gave him a parking pass to some area conservation parks so we should start using it. Besides, it is above freezing now.

Okay - thanks for the virtual blanket! Now I am having fevers & chills, praying that I am not getting sick!!!

Blessed - enjoy all the kiddos, I'll take a piece of cheesecake.

LucyLee - I wish I could go back to bed too.

Kathryn - great job decluttering the IT side of the Village... wanna do my homework for me?

INE - asked what classes I was taking so I will add their names to the list.

I worked on the hardest/longest first, it is now done so I am going to go s2s and then clear off the DR table before I start the next batch of homework. I would like to get at least caught up on all 3 today so I can concentrate on the house tomorrow and Monday.

Taking a short break. Been having a bit of trouble getting real motivation. I have gotten alot of distractions. But now that DH is gone grocery shopping for me, I am making better progress. When he is underfoot, I cant seem to stay ontrack.

I honestly dont know what Im going to move onto next. Whatever I do, Dh is bound to return and interrupt me and then I will have to put away the groceries, wash the veggies, portion the meat, that stuff. By that time, it will be time to start dinner. So I may just chill and read or catch up on recorded tv shows. It is feeling almost decadent that I have an extra day off this weekend, lol. I am not doing my usual stress out trying to get everything done at once.

TADA's for Today
did NOT sleep too late
meds
email, and boards
breakfast
wake sleepy head DH
d2s
fresh pot of coffee for DH
Kitchen focus
counters cleared and disinfected
all clean dishes put away
clear off stool
reload dishwasher and run
spot wipe walls
dust rest of walls and baseboards
clean off black cabinet
windows cleaned
serious tidy and small purge of pantry closet
made menu and grocery list for the week
BONUS talked Dh into cleaning the upstairs bath for me :D :D :D :D
spent an hour on the paper monster project at the dining room table (almost ready to move back upstairs into the office)
cleared off a table leftover in the dr from xmas...it can now go back into the basement

Before the day ends Round
put groceries away
assorted chores associated with groceries
make dinner
dinner cleanup
clothes for church tomorrow layed out
meds
tithe check for church
gather all laundry to be start AS SOON AS I WAKE UP in the morning. NO PRCRASTINATING

Decided I am going to watch tv until DH gets home. One of my favorites is recorded, Scandal. I RARELY sit down on the weekend and do this, so why not now?!?!?!? BBL

Back from the BIG TENT!!! For anyone who doesn't know - Quartzsite is one giant flea market but the Big Tent is about one block (with 3 aisles) of vendors selling everything from campground memberships, to insurance, to cook ware, to vitamins, to sewer systems, to cell phones, to pet clothes, food and accessories to anything else connected with the RV industry.

We parked probably 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile away plus walked all of the tent aisles. So I've gotten my steps in for the day. I am now going to collapse.

We did manage to make an appointment to have the braking system fixed for when we tow behind the MH. It might cost us $150 - 200 where the other place wanted around $1000. Guess where we are going?

I was able to get a universal charger for the phones - charge it once and put it in the car and all will be charges for at least 3 times without plugging it in again.

Time to check my eyelids for light leaks.

Back from the hike. Were out of the car for an hour but only 45 minutes of that were in motion - we stopped to take photos with dh's new camera. His self-timer is way better than our other ones - you can set how long to wait and how many pictures you want it to take, so you don't have to keep checking to see if anyone blinked.

Took care of the phone message and now will deal with the email that arrived while I was gone. Both have to do with church.

Good Afternoon, Villagers! :D

Dee, You walked a LOT of steps! :!: I've read that walking is good for bringing blood sugar down, too.

OKay, Isn't it so much fun to re-decorate?! :) I put out some family photos yesterday and they're so nice. ♥

MT, That giant flea market sounds great! :)

ITN, I know what you mean by distractions. My DH is on his way to the grocery store, too. ;)

Scattered, Stay healthy, please! I feel cruddy today, too. Hope you and I both are not getting sick!!! :!:

Blessed, Have fun with the kids! :)

LucyLee, I accidentally did not set my dawn simulator, woke up late and now my entire day is running late. Do you ever take a nap? :?:

Kathryn, You're going great decluttering! :D I decluttered my office desk today, 4 drawers and top. :) (I took 2 loads to the burn bag to burn on days we're allowed to burn outdoors, too.) Kathryn, Your new post came in when I was going to his "Submit". So here goes.... Your hike sounds great and so does that camera! :D

My Ta Da:
- s2s, breakfast, MT DW, meds/supps
- Devotion, Novena, Lord's Prayer, Prayers and journal
- Cleaned the desk
- Wrote a To Do List
- Wrote DH a grocery list
- Ordered a new book
- Finished reading a new book

My To Do:
- Lunch, supps, fill DW
- Start lol
- Help put away groceries
- Read on some books
- Write some list for organizing some writing projects
- Take a little snooze
- Maybe start a beret, which looks like a slouch hat when done.

I don't feel like doing much today. Will take things slow and in baby steps.

Everyone, Have a good afternoon and evening. :D

sending out cheese cake to all.

ran to the airport to drop of one of dd's friends, everyone here is sleeping.. last night they were up most of the night. It has been so much fun having the kiddos. tomorrow it will be just dd younger and I think she will be sad to go back to just dh and I. But like anything in life you do adjust again. dd older told me she had such a good time being home for the holiday. :D

INE - I called but you didn't pick-up

Ivy - Hope we feel better soon

Blessed - Thanks for the Cheesecake, I needed it.

I am now s2s in comfy warm clothing, have somewhat cleared off the DR table (need to finish my card-files to completely clear it off), put the pork roast in the oven. DS14 took out the trash and discovered that we are out of trash bags so he ran up to the Dollar Store on the corner to get some more. DS20 has left for work and will be getting more Kerosene on his way home.

Now I need to tackle more homework, hopefully I can get it done by the time the roast is done.
