Guess everyone is busy this morning! I have been since 6am. Have accomplished a lot toward getting ready to go tomorrow. Want to go to church and work for a little while today if I get time. Will be going in the morning to do the bulletin with the Pastor.

I've been trying to get the scanner from my printer to work on this Windows 8. No go so far. Have a bunch of pictures to scan from dsisil -which I want to take back to her tomorrow! Won't download the needed driver for the scanner. Guess I'll just have to take the printer back and hook it up to the other netbook. Or, probably easier, bringing that computer in here and hooking the printer to it. Have to pack that one as soon as I finish pics anyway. sounds good to me. I could do that while doing other things.

LucyLee you're on my mind. DD is at a training session at the police dept today, so had a sub today as well. Guess that's what the training/subs are all for this week. So she doesn't have too many days left in the classroom.

DD and Dsonil were going to print the team Zoe t-shirts for the memorial walk in June, last night. However not enough light in the garage and mosquitoes were coming in. So he SAID he'd do them today. DD doesn't really want to help but will to get them done so we can take them north with us! He said this morning he was going out and get them going. Hmmmm.....that was probably 8:30 or so. I do know they will be done before we go, but hate leaving things to the very last minute!!!!

Hi Dee! I had wondered if you were going to open here this morning. It sounds like you have a lot going on!

I survived my visit to the Dr. yesterday. *sigh* Nothing conclusive, which is good in a way and not-so-good in another way. A couple things might be going on, and I do have a prescription for an antibiotic if I feel I need it. I've been drinking a lot of water in the meantime. Harriet would be proud. I think things are generally getting better. . . . . . This Dr. went ahead and did a pap smear for me while I was in the office b/c I was behind on that, so that has been done. I like her. I might switch from my regular Dr. to her.

I was up with the pup at 2 a.m. Then, she was up again at 6, but dh got up with her then and put her back in her crate. She started yapping non-stop around 6:45. . . . . So, I'm having a slow morning again. It's nice I can have a slow morning.

So far today, I have done part of my a.m. routine and taken care of some emails.

ToDos:
- a.m. routine
- errands - bank, Target (maybe), Korean grocery for rice
- laundry catch up
- exercise
- start breadmaker; we're going to eat early tonight
- 1:30 meet dfriend at the farmer's market to buy flowers as thank yous for the moms group final meeting tomorrow
- supper around 5:20 - pasta w/ homemade tom. sauce, bread, salad - simple and fast. Dd14 will have to eat later, and ds has said he may not be home from work in time. . . . .
- pick up dd14 from drivers ed at 6, drop off her friend, transport dd14 to synchro. practice; meanwhile, dh will take dd17 to the art show reception that starts at 6
- go to art show reception at neighboring University; hope to see dfriend A there. I invited her; we're losing touch with her. She hasn't been coming to Thursday dinners. She is quite a complex person - wonderful, but complex. She has an artistic side so I think she would enjoy the exhibit.
- leave in time to pick up dd14 from synchro practice around 7:40
- maybe dfriend A will come here after the reception to have coffee w/ dh and me. Would be good to visit with her a bit.
- make sure everything is in order for final moms group meeting tomorrow
- puppy care through the day as needed.

The pup is asleep outside in a hole she has dug by the brick walkway (Kathryn now knows exactly what I'm talking about). She is quite a prodigious digger. . .. This may not bode well for our lawn. LOL!

I'm off to finish the a.m. routine and get that crossed off the li&t.

((((Ellyphant)))) I hope your recovery is going as well as can be. I hate that you had to have GB surgery, but I love that it enabled for you to come visit us in the village. I have missed your post and found myself wondering multiple times.....hum....wish I knew how Ellyphant is doing.

I pulled August 2012 papers out and announced this morning that I wasn't going to bed until this stack of papers was processed. Estimating it will take 5-7 hours of focused work to get them done. I've set the bar high creating such a huge goal to get that much done in one day as well as normal stuff (LO care, MPB support, CFO duties, prep/serve 3 meals) I'm in dangerous territory for sidetracking to derail my effort. There are distractions on my left and temptations on my right. DMom called and asked if I would take her to town for WM/Sam's run and to go furniture shopping. I've begged off and suggested we do it another day.

Grabbing the timer to keep me on track. *POOF*

I have just kept moving along. Combining some things together so I don't have to take as many individual things. Some I've simply decided I don't really NEED! Was questioning dh's suit and have just decided to buy him a new sports coat up north and leave it there! Taking a couple of ties with me, however. As I've gone through different areas the bedroom is coming together.

Next up -bring in my small netbook & hook that to the printer and see how it goes with transferring pictures. I "think" I can do more than 1 at a time from what I read last night. Not sure it will matter as long as I have them in the computer. Probably won't print out very many anyway at this point in our lives.

OKAY--That is so sweet that you thought of me. I must say I was indignant at the GF's treatment of LO and felt like cheering when you declined to babysit her child.

KATHRYN--You're right...laughing and coughing are two things I try not to do right now! The soreness has improved greatly in just a few days, though.

Need to do paperwork while I am recovering and sitting a lot. OKAY and HARMONY always inspire me to get that done.

Hoping you all are having a wonderful Wed. in Sheville the baby's slacks are in the dryer so I'm thinking it's pj time for her too cold to go outside to do much yet with her.

I've taken morning meds. bs was a bit on the low side today. BabyN. has arrived on schedule this morning, dgd is at the other grannys today dgson will be here after school. So my day is on track so far. H. got up and left on time earlier today than in the winter but not as early as yesterday.

Yesterday worked and played with grand kids in the back yd. for an hour that was fun for them and me!

I have a plan for dinner.
Today laundry is going.
I found the other half of the kitchen counters yea for progress on that!

Time to get going on the next part of my day now.

Kathryn, glad the speakers, etc., got better as the day went along. Yes, it would be frustrating to hear the same lecture/comments with only a change in the title to make you think it was different.

Emptynester, I was thinking about 9 hours on a train.... ... I would still be swaying. Well, my brain would still be swaying while my body tried to hold it still. Enjoy that air conditioned room.

We are up and S2S as breakfast was served in the lobby of the motel. We will be going over to DD#1's house later after lunch. Thought we would let her have a morning alone. She has finished here 3 classes this semester - all with A's.

Just laying around the motel now - reading and watching the History channel. We will go to lunch next door in a bit and then, like I said, go to DD's house.

Really exciting day. But we need a bit of rest day after a day of travel. Train was pretty good - Amtrak has some pretty smooth tracks now. I also read two books on my Kindle.

Hello Dear Ladies,

Looks like rain for us today.

Had a nice dinner last night with family at pizza place. Dbrother really enjoyed it as he loves pizza.

Dcousin Norma called me last night. I had been thinking of her but hadn't called. She called to say that today they are putting Daunt Betty to rest. She is going to the graveside service for her and will think of me while she is there. I'm saying a prayer during the time that it is and thinking of Daunt Betty.

For you southern gals: if someone passes in the winter up north, the family has to wait until the weather is better, the ground not frozen so they can bury them.

But Dcousin wants to keep getting re-acquainted.
