Thursday thoughts
My first thought is that is Tuesday. I need to quickly disavow myself from that thought!

Re: Thursday thoughts
I'm up and dressed. Didn't exercise this morning. Nor did I do my physio last night (I was just too sore and too tired.) Knees are not as bad today as yesterday so maybe they need a rest from everything, the good and the bad. I did ice yesterday and will do so today as well.
Church office this morning, treating myself to lunch out and grocery shopping, then a church meeting tonight.
Lucylee If I got a thank you note like that, I'd picture all three of you sitting around the dining table, splitting up the list of names but working side by side. There's nothing wrong at all with signing all three names.
Not sure if I told you but dd and dsil have signed a lease on a 1600 foot town house, end unit. It looks quite nice and the layout is very good. She'll have room for lots of my stuff! (Kitchen is small, that's the only downside and dsil nearly didn't want to take the place because the first one they saw had a designer kitchen but was just out of budget. Fortunately, the third one they saw had a horrid kitchen along with a horrid layout for the rest of the house so he adjusted his priorities since this place was slightly under budget and very clean.)

Re: Thursday thoughts
I am finished with 20 minutes to spare. I need to do a better job of keeping this house overnight company ready. I did get a twofer out of the deal, the bug called and will be coming tomorrow.
Better get off of here and check my bs, etc.
It is raining this morning and is supposed to rain the next 5 days, so I might as well go today and be done with it.

Re: Thursday thoughts
Well, I'm sorry I missed Lilac, to give her a "Way-To-Go" for all the work. She was working until midnight last night, I think, too.
Emptynester, thinking of ya'll today. How is dh's arm healing?
Sunny, so glad your ds had nothing worse to report, and that he heals quickly. Are you still at the hospital for today? Best wishes all around.
Congratulations to Kathryn's dd and dsil on the new place. How far are they moving?
LisaB is probably decorating and enjoying her new place a lot - hope so.
Thinking of Harmony with doctor's visit today.
I got a little sun mid-morning.
DPC - mine are mounting up. Yuck.
A Ta-Da from yesterday was that I got a get-well card in the mail to dfirstsisteril, even though I missed the mail here and decided to add that to errands. That way, dd signed as well. Also called dfirstmil, who had just gotten back from the hospital and felt everything had gone as expected, with good prognosis.
Also I did go ahead, after a rest, to complete 50 minutes workout yesterday. I'd like to be at a level of doing that once a week, with a couple shorter workouts other days.
I'm very much enjoying scuppernongs, in season right now. So hard to eat, lol, with 3 or 4 seeds per grape and quite the tough skin, but SO good. Also my mother's fig is bearing fruit this year - quite unexpected. The grandboys walked over here with some, slightly crushed by enthusiasm.
I guess the unusually mild summer and many rains changed something for figs.

Re: Thursday thoughts
My "Thursday Thoughts" are 'when is it going to end?'
After a long list of 9 items going wrong for us, which are expensive repairs, etc.. on things we need repaired or replaced, our refrigerator, 9 years old, gave up the ghost yesterday! Everything's in the garage fridge, which is Amana, and we've had for over 20 years or more!
Anyway, DH will look at the appliance shop to see what they have and any payment plan.... or we'll be trotting back and forth to the garage for cold and frozen items!
It's overcast, ready to burn off to a sunny day.
Our day's starting out odd. Maybe it'll get better.
Have a great day, Everybody!

Re: Thursday thoughts
Good morning, villagers ~
Kathryn ~ I wish it was still Tuesday! The older I get, the faster the days fly.
Today is desk day. Several hours of reporting due for sewing group, to get ready for board meeting next week and articles for newsletter. Also need to design some publicity flyers for upcoming events.
Another meeting at the library tonight. Did I mention that Monday night's "emergency" meeting was for something that I thought could have been handled with an Email? Almost a total waste of time, especially considering that tonight's meeting was already on the calendar.
I need to figure out what to cook for supper. We had vegetarian last night so DH will want some kind of red meat tonight.

Re: Thursday thoughts
Hello Dear Ladies,
It's cloudy here today, maybe we will see some rain.
Dson 22 is home sick, sore throat, thinks it is allergies.
DH is hurting with back pains, think he has overdone it these past few days.
Work day here, it is my second day of my work week so it's like Tuesday to me.
Got to get lunch for everyone and then get ready for work.
Great day to all!

Re: Thursday thoughts
Just now checking in. Yesterday I saw my dsis - 400 mile plus round trip and was back home around 9:30 last night. I also stopped off at IKEA in ATL and bought bookcases for my crafty room that I hope dh will put together for me soon. I managed to load them in car myself!
This morning I've been to temple to meet with rabbi. Unfortunately, I broad-sided a car in our parking lot. We have what is perceived to be an alley running through our parking lot and have had lots of near misses with people flying up and down the alley. I was looking around to see who was parked in our lot that shouldn't be there this morning as a car was coming through, and I T-boned her, in dd's words. Not much damage to my Honda Pilot, but driver can't use drivers side doors and her car is scraped up. She is the same age as my kids and was all weepy about it - I can't blame her as initial hit was right at her door.
We've discussed closing this "alley" now that we know it is ours to close and I suspect I will push for that now.
Also a long chat w office secretary and caught up on a lot that's going on there.
The guy from the construction company that built the house is supposed to come by in the next hour to go over what still needs to be completed from our 11-month list.
We're going to dfriends for dinner - dh informed me this a.m. I need to make a salad. I can pick up lettuce a little later but will mix up some dressing if I have ingredients.
I am wanting to give myself a nap later. I feel pretty drained out.
