Hello Dear Ladies,

We have rain. Not going to complain as we need it.

Still have not been able to access website for insurance. got a post card from BCBS with their website but cannot access it because it wants you to access the obamacare one first.

Work at WM on Saturday was interesting with the food stamp cards not going through. Some people were just rude about it. Some kind of glitch that was fixed by Sunday.

Feeling achey today. Dson17 did dishes for me when he got home. I spent time with the heating pad and listened to a podcast. DH helped me put the TENS pads on and it seemed to help.

I think it is the rain.

Spent some time on the phone with dsister-inlaw too. She got a letter with test results and couldn't understand it. I looked up the terms they used for her and her results were actually good. Wonder why they can't simplify things for patients who don't know all the medical lingo.

Going to check out posts and spend some time on the computer.

Home from delivering some papers for t-shirt orders. Our little town is having a fund raiser to support local fella who is in final stages of cancer. We are taking orders for matching T-shirts with all proceeds going to him. Everyone will to wear the t-shirt to a basketball game that will generate more funds to be donated to him. Part of this effort is about raising funds for him, but a bigger part of it is showing him how much he is loved and cared about.

Gorilla glue!!!! Great Idea! Thanks Cowinkie! I just filled the boot pieces with gorilla glue and have wrapped them with packing tape to hold tightly together overnight. Hopefully the glue repair will last through the zoo tomorrow.

Buying work boots to save the cowboy boots would work if LO wasn't growing so fast. He usually outgrows them before wearing them out. This time was the exception.

Baby n's mom called and the baby wil, be here th. Fri. & mon. In the a.m. hoping to get paint on the inside of It coop 1st. Coat anyway.

Back late from my survey. It was the most fun I've had yet! And I adore the minister (this is the minister that requested me even though he was assigned another facilitator!)

Off to bed now. May not be able to sleep because of coughing but at least I want to try.

I have had an extremely busy day.
Called the DMV -- no answer. What's up with that??? Someone needs to answer the phone and tell me how much of my $$$ they want in payment for my lead foot.
Allergy shot.
Then I stopped by to visit w/dcousin, who is taking chemo, but doing really, really well. Thank you all for continued prayers.
Got groceries for dmom -- just a few items -- and went to doctor's office to get a rx for her, then to drug store to get it filled.
Home... dmil's... nursing home... out to eat w/ds, ddil, dgs...
Delivered supper, rx, and groceries to dmom...
Finally -- HOME.
Wrote recommendation for former student and emailed to her.

DS & DDIL are very frustrated w/insurance... their monthly premium is going to nearly double, and their deductible is going to go up probably a $1000. This "affordable care" is really mis-named, IMHO.

That is terrible -- to get a medical letter that is so complicated that one cannot understand if the news is good or bad.

But -- very glad the news WAS good for dsisil, Sadie!

Best advice I ever received was to use a raw potato pushed up in a broken light bulb to remove it.

Unfortunately, we had this happen just the other day. No potatoes in the house. Managed to twist it slowly, slowly, slowly, using needle-nose pliers.

Hope you find some more durable boots, OKay. I agree -- $70 is pretty pricey for something that wears out so quickly. I don't care what sort of wear and tear LO exerts on them -- people who make children's shoes should expect wear and tear and build shoes & clothing to last!

Elizabeth, just send a PM (click on the little envelope icon beneath a name) of anyone who is labeled Moderator. I don't know the difference between a Moderator and an Administrator. But, anyway, I'm sure they all have been reading your posts about your difficulty with your computer...and if they'd have had answers they'd have chimed in by now. I was just trying to jog people's brains to help you if they could. I'm pretty illiterate about this stuff, so no help from this corner.

Today was busy trying to get that project done. I have the dining room table now piled up a couple feet thick. I need some more bins. The papers smell musty, can't wait to get them out of here.

Other project in the office with DH didn't go well. We were trying to hurry to get a product ordered before the 15% discount expired, but the customer put us off again till it was too late. Her loss. She knew about it. And another customer put us off on a project for another 3 months because stuff she wants isn't in stock till then. ...sigh...... sometimes it's so discouraging.

Cleaned out the freezer, organized things in there. Will have to have a couple meals of mystery meat, DH puts stuff in there and doesn't mark it. I used up some things making a big pot of chicken soup. Delicious! Put another couple things together and made DH lunch. I don't have to buy veggies for about a month!

Desk is caught up except for a couple projects that I'm running out of time with. Ducked out to do things at 2 banks.

I've been busy this past week, and trying to keep up the momentum since I think I've been feeling better, but I can tell I'm really not. It's disappointing to find I have no patience or tolerance for delays, problems, and if I work normal speed it cranks up the mental junk. So I guess I'll have to slow back down again. Feels like I just can't win.

Yep -- just saw the same thing at dmom's, Harmony... only it's her kitchen table. Since ddad's death, she pretty much eats and sleeps in the sunroom, anyway, so she doesn't need the kitchen table, LOL.
