Elizabeth ~ I'm glad you had help with the party decorations. I fully understand the distraction of NEW BOOKS! I stopped by the library yesterday to ask for a particular cookbook through interlibrary loan, and got a phone message today that they've already received it. (Proof that snail mail is not always slow!) I wanted so much to go pick it up right away, but forced myself to wait until tomorrow because I knew that if I had that NEW BOOK! I would not meet today's deadlines.
The library opens at 1 tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to seeing this book. It's called The Boat Galley Cookbook. I'm hoping to find some new ideas for camping meals, and maybe some additional emergency foods in the cupboards for when we get snowed in.
