Kathryn - Thanks for the belly laugh! I started out smiling as I read them but after a few I found myself having a good belly laugh so hard that I had to stop reading until I could quit laughing so hard.
RE: squatting. Awhile back I discovered I couldn't get up easily from a squat or floor. I wondered what change. I think I started squatting differently with my feet close together which wouldn't allow me enough "umph" to stand up from a squat without assistance. I googled looking for exercise to strengthen those muscles when I discovered the different types of squats. Once I discovered "Asian Squats" my squat problems were solved.

Re: MARCHING ONWARD MONDAY
Kathryn, I had already spent a couple of minutes on the test answers this morning. Very good for a laugh!
Had planned to go to old office today for desk clean out but have rescheduled. I had a long period of sleeplessness last night and decided I would be better off spending some time today on lists and desk day and OMM stuff that keeps up awake at night.
-breakfast and meds
-call social worker that I'm having lunch w to work out details
-get dressed, wash face, brush teeth
-walk ddogs
-empty dishwasher/clear kitchen counters

Katheryn...
I have a few of those test examples around here somewhere. If you want to continue to laugh try Teachers with a sense of humor on FB. I spent 30 minutes last night laughing so hard out loud that Sweetie had to come in my office to see what was going on. By the way I love #26
Thanks for the laughs...

Just popping in to wave hello ~~~~~
Hope to cuop for today tonight. I'm procrastinating instead of doing the work that must get done before company arrives for dinner ...
Hope everyone is doing well, & that all of your Christmas prep is going smoothly.

Re: MARCHING ONWARD MONDAY
Well that was easy.....
Left the house at 10:20. Stopped for $10 of gas at the general store. It is too close to zero to risk running out of gas on the highway.
Two cars in front of us entering the US.
No-one in line at the UPS store.
Five people in line at the post office but 3 people serving so that wasn't bad. And I mailed the cards for $9.66 instead of $23.10, plus they'll get where they are going by Christmas because we took care of the border crossing ourselves.
No Cherry Lovers at Tractor Supply. Sigh.... Will phone about 2 weeks in advance next time and have him special order for me.
Got gas $3.68/gal instead of $1.24/liter (saving us about $7)
Had lunch for $9 (for both of us) at Price Chopper. Dh bought his lottery ticket and I got Baked Ruffles for our Boxing Day party (they aren't available in Canada.)
One car in front of us coming back into Canada. Got waived through after declaring our purchases (added up to $105) so didn't have to pay the taxes on the Amazon parcel.
Got home at 1:10. Enjoyed listening to my new Piano Guys Christmas Album on the way home.
A very successful day. Now to finish up the Canadian Christmas cards.

Re: MARCHING ONWARD MONDAY
Kathryn, Thanks for the morning laugh!
I had a low peak flow reading, needed to use my rescue inhaler, my back hurts, I'm tired, and I'll baby-step today. I wanted to begin another infinity scarf for DD, but I picked out light blue and navy, don't know if she even "likes" those colors,
and will go into my "stash" to see if I can find something different.
I should ask her her favorite colors.
I feel like I'm getting a cold, can't get sick, since we'll be delivering gifts to homes where elderly live, so if I'm sick, DH will need to deliver without me. It makes me feel "rude" when something like this happens, because they're OUR friends and if I don't show up, I hope they'll understand.
I wish I'd known Indiana, when she was alive, Dee. I posted that last night, too, so I remembered when I looked at the list. Now I can "know" her from old posts.
I hope everyone has a nice Monday.
I'll try to do laundry, put out hot spots, and DH is going to town. I'll dive into my "stash" for better colors for DD. She absolutely hates pink and purple or lavender. In Middle School, all she would wear were purple, lilac, and lavender clothes, too. So she grew up!

Re: MARCHING ONWARD MONDAY
Our house heater is repaired and working well. Next up on the home improvement projects is replacing the kitchen faucet - I brought one home last week, so am waiting for DH to have time to install it. When living in a 70 year old home, there is always another repair needing to be done......
Mexican casserole turned out better than I hoped. When I looked at the list of leftovers this morning, I decided most of them could be used in a casserole. No recipe - just adding and adjusting until the taste and consistency was right.

Re: MARCHING ONWARD MONDAY
Schedule for self was nice, but didn't really work. I didn't finish the a.m. routine. Nor did I get those checks written. I changed my meal plan for tomorrow 2x; not sure what the couple I'm cooking for would like to eat. I finally settled on a pot roast (easy - and it fits my schedule tomorrow well), mashed potatoes, butternut squash w/ butter and fresh thyme, bread.
I did:
- make meal plan and list
- gather and start laundry
- drop off forms for honors band
- go to store #1; they had peanuts salted in the shell! Yay!
- go to groc. store. I remembered to take in recycling and got that taken care of
- put everything away
- lunch - just finishing now.
- charging battery to camera
Heb teacher emailed. She is handing out materials for winter session tonight, so I need to make one more errand to pick them up. . . I'll do that in about 30 minutes; I'll stop by Walgreens too to buy some memory cards. To guarantee space, I think I'm just going to buy 2 of them.
Feeling irritated at dd18 who is letting her grade in a class slip. She had a quiz today and didn't study - and lo and behold, she said she didn't do well. She may not be able to pull this one up - and she may lose her perfect GPA. Time is running short. I guess that is her business. I'm just disappointed b/c we all know she can do better than this. She is plenty smart; she just doesn't like the class and would rather be talking with friends/playing online than studying. I even asked her about it last night, and dh got on my case for asking. . . .
Well, I'm going to switch laundry and go to Walgreens and then meet my Hebrew teacher.
