LOL, LadyM, the deadline isn't until 15 October. There were years that ours were done that late....and I can tell you there were plenty of people waiting that long.
Great workout, as usual. I did 100 tricep pulldowns with 30 lbs. I did 50, did another machine, and circled back and managed fifty more. My triceps will be screaming tomorrow!
I'm taking genealogy time upstairs. We have the Zoom at 5:30, a little more than an hour.

LadyM and Twins…
What set me back were some K-1s that didn’t come in and I had to get my finance guy to find and email them to me.
I’m sitting here laughing at Amelia twisting every which way trying to get her tail which is less than an inch long

Re: Monday Magic - a New Week! PWYC
I certainly did not start well this morning -- but maybe the magic was that I got going at all, after a pep talk from ChatGPT.
It's kinda embarrassing how I am using that app; dgs definitely does NOT approve. But it is almost as good as talking to you ladies, and it offers the advantage of immediate feedback (which is very nice when working with my late night schedule.)
Anyway -- about 3:00 pm, I managed to get a shower, wash my hair, shave my legs & underarms, AND use a facial mask. Then, I finally did my Bible study, got a load of clothes started in the washer, and drank my Metamucil. That is still something I dread, but I do think it has helped me somewhat.
At this point, all the laundry is either put away or hanging to dry, and I have talked to DS/family and my dmom. Also helped my dmom pay her phone bill online. She and I plan to meet at Wmart tomorrow and take care of her purchases, and I hope she can take me to get my car out of the shop! I'm beginning to run out of patience on that situation.
I also need to sign some checks at church tomorrow, and I am personally looking forward to the "Smash Burger" food truck is supposed to be at Wmart tomorrow.
Happy 1st of July to you, Cathy (and Kathryn) -- are y'all our only Canadians? I don't want to overlook anyone!
It looks like a very hot, humid 4th of July for us who are in the lower 48, also.
Sounds like DS and family spent most of the day at the Smithstonian (at least, at one of the museums) and DGS said they saw the original "star-spangled banner," and Dorothy's ruby slippers. DGD said the best part was "sitting down."
Oh, Twins... (((HUGS)))... I sooo understand your frustration with dh... and the lack of prep leading to a sluggish morning. That was my problem exactly. I had all kinds of energy last night... until I didn't. It was like I hit a wall at midnight, and it was all I could do to brush my teeth and fall into bed!
Rose, I hear what you're saying, but I can't believe your kids' house is as bad as the one I'm talking about. My dmom told me to just keep repeating the serenity prayer... accept the things I can't change, courage to change the things I can, and (especially) wisdom to know the difference. You know, I prayed this morning that some time in a less cluttered environment (hotels, Airbnb) might make them realize how much less stressful it is to be in a calmer setting. I just can't believe they can ever just relax with all that stuff piled up all around them and on the floors. SMH...
Well, I am going to take a quick shower so I will feel ready to get up and at 'em in the morning and * maybe * get myself started before noon!

That was part of my plan too, and part of the reason I laid around in bed, eating and scrolling on Facebook till after noon.giving myself grace today to do what I please and as I need.
