L.Ann, you've reminded me I need to delete emails too. We have another spell of hot weather forecast for this week, but neither as hot nor as humid as the last heatwave.

Gma, you're bright, and church on Sunday does start the week off in a good way.

Church was good and the coffees after went smoothly. Today's lunch menu was roast duck breast with a seasalt, whole grain mustard and honey coating, roast potatoes, gravy, tenderstem broccoli, carrots and green beans, followed by profiteroles. I've folded laundry and PA, Freddie has had his walk (once it was cooler) and I be worked on my garden this evening, cutting down more hardy geraniums that were straggly, cutting down foxgloves that had finished,. and scattering the seed where I would like them to grow next year.

Duck is certainly delicious, Kittykatt. And you wisely left out the parts that offer so little meat but coat everything you own in a layer of grease.

I am listening to my library audiobook, which is due back very soon. I shouldn't have waited so long to start it, but now that I have, I can't get enough of it. It's called We Are Legion, and it's a science fiction book in the tradition of Isaac Asimov. A very richly imagined world. But it was written recently, so we recognize our modern politics and culture. 10/10 Recommend.
It was my dental hygienist who recommended it to me, and I can't remember what we could have been talking about that would have led to a recommendation of science fiction.

I'm just having some rice and veg and then I think I will see if I can wake Germane up and offer her a walk. She was so confused this morning when she peed on the floor and wouldn't leave the bathroom again once she found her way back to it. I actually had to bring her heart pill and peanut butter to her there.
