It does the dreaded glitch screen, helian but so far is working on refresh! Dogged, SpongeBob was actually waaayyy better than I was anticipating. The acting was great and the show was cute.

The smoke has reached us so we have smoky air and an orange sun.

Hi, all. I have done my major timesucking tasks this week already, which leaves me free for 15 up/15 down housecleaning today. And boy, does my apartment need it. It will be easy for me to see the improvement as I go along.

As far as I can tell, maggi are ramen noodles. But once Sikhs have gotten hold of them, they have vegetables and a LOT of flavour. The food truck sells them for under $5. It's the right amount of food for one meal, it satisfies the craving for flavour, and it's an inexpensive indulgence. And I like supporting the food truck. They are nice young men, and I'm glad to have it in our neighbourhood.

We are lucky to have cool weather, which I am enjoying. So much of my country is on fire now, I'm hoping that this helps in the efforts to fight the fires. Or at least doesn't exacerbate them.

I'm sorry about the smoke, helia. Are many people around you wearing the N95 masks? It seems like a very practical approach.

I'm glad that you enjoyed SpongeBob, L.Ann. I had never thought of anyone putting on a live play about it.

Great to get those roses deadheaded, kittykatt, helps to have more blooms. On my TODO list as well, but not on urgent or priority list yet. How long will Freddie escape the nails?
Great SHEM - Indeed small efforts repeated lead to success - unfortunately I feel like small efforts, even repeated, leave so much more undone that needs to be done, I get further and further behind. My dbro says if I didn't have 2 houses, I could probably keep up. I did feel that way in the spring, as I was planting flowers at my house, but then had to add making mother's house look at least lived in. And I am successful at that, as people think I am living there.

That can coincide with trip to Menards and return to Michaels
1 goal today - clear off DR table at mother's where we have been working to go through boxes. 6 boxes successfully removed from the house. That's an important start. Only 2 boxes will go back to where they were and the contents have been reduced ... as they are full of family info that we will have fun looking at together.

That is kind of a time consuming list, so I better get started, as I have an eye appointment at 4.
(Just a little whine: My chigger bites are still very itchy, several days after the fact. So I checked - it is not uncommon for them to be red and itchy for 2 weeks. I'm on day 5...
