Hi, all. I'm back! I washed the floor, so am CUOP while I wait for it to dry.

I see that helia has another packed day. We're here to cheer you on.

I would have no problem finding 200 items out of place, kitkat, but I'm not confident that I would find an Away to put them all, LOL. Mind you, it could be a motivator for getting things boxed up and in the lockers so that I can reorganize the apartment.
It sounds like you got the sleep that your body was asking for.

WTG on your chair hunting success, Kittykatt. Your strategy covered all potential issues.

That brings me to the end of Page 1, and I think that I can get into the kitchen now. If I clatter around, that might bring Germane out to get her heart pill and peanut butter.

Tuesday
Put on a pot of coffee
Washed floor
Cleaned up after dog

With warm summer days and the kids playing outside we see the return of the urban version of Ding Dong Ditch. Somebody's car alarm was set off twice in a row.

Tuesday
Put on a pot of coffee
Washed floor
Cleaned up after dog X 2
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Washed some dishes
Put more in to soak
Fed Germane, multiple spoonsful as she woke up with a good appetite

You bring up a very good point, kitkat. The stuff that I would like to be boxing up is in my main room, right in front of the TV that is playing my two afternoon shows....

Kitty, we have 2 poang chairs. The cushions are a nice dark brown leather. I'd like to replace them - but that cushion is no longer available, at least not the last time I checked. They're comfortable for dh and me, and we both have back issues. But ours are under good control. I can see how they would be uncomfortable for some people.
Was Little Bit disappointed at the shortened pool time, L Ann?
You've gotten lots done, kitkat.
You're taking good care of Germane, Doggedly.

I think I'm done with housework for the day. I'm.still "behind" but the sitting room and hall are done, so that's the bit anyone would see amd I have somewhere to relax.

L.Ann, I'm glad the thunder didn't disrupt pool activities too much.

KitKat, I'm hoping to present DH with a fait accompli with the chairs by the time he comes home on Sunday. But that is rather dependent on it arriving on time and either me being able to put it together, or Handyman.MJ is available to do it for me (I do not have Dogged's skills!) :D

Dogged, WTG with the floors!

Helia, that's very interesting about the Poang chairs. If you're ever in the UK in the next few months, you'd be very welcome.to the cushions if you think they'll fit.:D My long term aim is to list them on the free section of Nextdoor, but that's dependent on DH fetching the one that's currently in pieces down from the loft. They're definitely too low for me now (knees? Idk) . And DH is convinced his back is better since he's been using my chair. (Maybe because it makes you sit correctly?) Oh, and congratulations on your wedding anniversary!❤️

Well, that's my break over. I need to put a few things away, then feed Mica, then our gang and then supper for me.

That's too bad about the pool time being cut short, L.Ann. Hopefully, there will be another time.

That's an important one, helia. I hope that you make it on time to vote.

LOL, Doggedly doesn't have Doggedly's skills, Kittykatt. Every assembly involves cursing the people who designed the furniture, their families and their descendants to the seventh generation.
WTG on getting your housework for the day done, and for knowing when to stop.

Tuesday
Put on a pot of coffee
Washed floor
Cleaned up after dog X 2
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Washed some dishes
Put more in to soak
Fed Germane, multiple spoonsful as she woke up with a good appetite
Worked on emptying out granny cart
Measured tables against plastic tablecloth and runners
Tested plastic tablecloth: it’s always going to look bad
Cut down one of the clear plastic ribbed shelf liners to make two table runners: they fit and look good.
Emptied desktop wastepaper basket
Cut down tissue box for recycling

Thank you Kitty! 36 years today. :D We'll celebrate when we get back.
I did make it in time to vote, Doggedly. There was one race in particular I wanted to vote in as it could affect national politics. Why will the tablecloth always look bad?

More done.

Next:

- make lists

Later:
