I've been home from workout awhile. I asked dh to walk ddog this afternoon. It's hot, hot, hot out.
I went upstairs while the dcleaning lady finished her work, and realized at 1:10 that I hadn't eaten anything. I scarfed down a protein bar and a Kind bar and drank some water and went on to my workout. I was considering skipping it but told myself I needed to get there and I got through the workout. Not the greatest ever but I was moving and got the workout in.
Dh won't be out as long tonight Mystery. This is the draft night for the league so he estimates he'll be out 6 to 7:30. When he bowls it's 9:30 or 10:30 but it's nice to have a quiet evening. I think I'm going to have my usual breakfast - omelet and fruit - for my supper.

Oy vey. Family stuff. Dd has decided to move to another apartment. It's next to a friend and another friend lives across the street. She's been in her basement apartment four years and this is a little nicer. The downside is that she didn't have enough in her checking account to pay all the fees, like, right now. So she's moving birthday money out of a money market at dh's old company into her checking account, and can't pay all the fees yet. So I think I"m wiring some money to her in the a.m. as a loan until the money market $$ get to her checking. And of course, dh thinks it should be a "learning moment" for her and that I shouldn't help out. And dd didn't want dh to know and I finally let him know what I was needing to do....
I've not been able to focus this afternoon for the barrage of texts and questions and discussion with dd. I'm afraid it's going to be a stressful month or so for both of us. She is very very busy at work in anticipation of the Jewish HHD. I hear from her a lot when she's stressed.
And we are filing the insurance claim for the cemetery and there's been email this afternoon that I will need to attend to. I also probably need to get photos now - after tree removal - that show the area/graves that need to be addressed.

~~~waving Hello to all~~~~
Cathy - I am happy with you! That is fantastic news
Being locked out of your home would be frustrating for sure! I'm glad a solution was found.
We never lock our doors during daylight hours whether we are home or not. Exterior doors are keyless entry (number pads) but I can't remember the last time we used the number pads since the doors aren't kept locked. We do have a physical door key hanging from hook on the front porch if the battery fails in the keyless pad. We do lock the main door when we go to bed at night. The windows have locks on them, but we don't use the locks so they would be another way to gain entry. Hum...we may be too lax, but I don't see us changing without a reason.
My movement today has been limited by a muscle in my back being locked up. I am 99% sure it is from being so stressed yesterday. I've taken pain meds and been on heating pad for hours without relief. Hopefully the muscle cramp will soon relax and give me some relief. I'm able to move when I must by being hunched over at waist, using a cane, and shuffling feet. I am ready for this nonsense to stop and return to moving normally.
I might be cranky.
I am definitely cranky but trying my best to not to show it.
