What a beautiful picture of a beautiful owl!

I've been on the phone dealing with computer issues - not r/to how computer but company websites and things i want to do. Being semi illiterate in these matters, I had lots of questions. After nearly an hour, I sent an email to my brother to ask him about it. He'll probably get it fixed in 10 mintues.
Meanwhile, I ate a delicious peach while on the phone yum
I had a good night sleep, and am going to a df house for supper
Next up is to get dressed and mow the lawn.

A quiet day here with the owl.

I'm back from mowing my back yard (the front lawn grows much more slowly and I have started mowing it every other ).
I'm sneezing, my nose is running. Apparently there's pollen in the air.
And I have had 500 ml of water since coming in.
Next up:
head to mother's to empty dehumidifiers and find the sandwich leftovers from when dniece was here. That will be my lunch.
And more water.

Hello all! I'm just going to jump in.

I'm getting here really late today. The day is not progressing as a usual day, but things are happening -- unlike yesterday. . .

Really, yesterday was a super lazy dud of a day. The good news is that I rested and I do feel better today - in body (my cold/ sinus infection and headache as well as my legs are improving) and in spirit. However, the bad news is: in the afternoon, S2 messaged our little friend group that the cancer spot in her breast is "more extensive than the one spot". I don't yet know what that means. So, it was a bit of a rough evening with that incomplete information pinging in my head.

We didn't meet today (KS2J get together) because S2 and J are moving their sons into the UMich dorms today. We'll get together Thursday. I hope I can join - I have a super packed Thursday - and I hope to learn more about S2's cancer. S2 has just turned 50. She is the regular marathon runner. Fastest time was a few minutes over 3 hours.

TODAY: I've done several tasks but not in standard order. It is almost 3 pm and I have not s2sed yet, for example. I have: ordered 2 baby gifts, watched Fable, walked (to and from the girls' house + a walk with Fable), finished exam prep for payroll, ordered laundry baskets + hampers for our 2 new residents, arriving tomorrow. I've looked at the rooms to see what needs to be done: the room upstairs can be prepped in less than an hour. The room downstairs ideally needs to have some items (boxes, a filing cabinet, etc.) moved out of it to make room for the girl's things. After a quick perusal, most of the stuff in that room belongs to dd30 even though it used to be ds' room. Dd30 is a packrat, and her belongings kind of just spill out into every space.

Hi, all. It is a beautiful rainy day today. Just gentle rains, not the wrath of sky gods upon us. Germane had a rough night last night. I woke up to her crying a couple of times. Both times she was just looking for me, and when I picked her up and carried her around or reached down and pet her, she calmed down. I think that this is the dementia, sundowning. It seems to have really worn her out, as she hasn't gotten up for her heart pill yet. I think that we'll have to skip it and go straight to breakfast when she does wake up. She has woken up and looked at me disapprovingly when I went to the bathroom, so I know that she's okey, LOL.
She has an appointment with her vet on Thursday.

Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt. That is interesting about the Too wit too woo being two different owls. I remember saying that as a brownie.

Germane does look so much better after her grooming, Kittykatt. I see that you were hard at work while the rest of us slept!

Dogged, I'm glad you're able to calm Germane when she gets anxious. I shall be going to bed soon, and leaving everyone else to work!

I had a good session in my garden, and also cleaned the patio doors. I also now have a clean, tidy sitting room. All the cats have been fed, and I made courgette lasagne for supper.

L.ann, tomorrow will be a big day. I'm sure that after all the time you and dd have spent with her, you will be eager to hear about her first day of school, as will her mother.
helian, I'm sorry to hear about your df. Exercise isn't a prevent-all for illnesses. Sometimes things happen randomly. Reminds us that we are not in ultimate control.

Home from Menard's run. got the phone cords needed.
Bought a door extension for the new storm door at mother's house. DS will take care of installation. (There's just a little - about 1/4 inch space at the bottom. Just enough for a mouse to come through if I have the interior door open to let in fresh air. )
My arm muscles are fatigued from pushing the lawn mower.
Going to friends house for supper. Need to change clothes.
