Morning….

Up and at this morning. Last night I made a list in my mind of things I need to do today..

Morning routines
Breakfast for everyone
Fold laundry
Desk day… me too Harriet!

So far I’m right on schedule and my reward will
be time at the pool with my friends

Been talking with my Dd and dsis about it they have been watching those vids to it turns out LOL!
Not just for guys! When the people are land owners or ones they know are.

I have sprinkler on under the tree that does not get much rain.
I have the timer on.

It's raining here today so glad we walked at five when it was still dark,
before it rained.
I got out my reflective vest.
Point of Interest my new book bag has reflective
tape on it too!
-----
Had bfast wrote it down made myself a "fancy" coffee to mark the day today.
I have plans / non food even H. Lobby is in my sights!

Later on this week after the rain dig holes for my new tulips!
Red and pink and move some others.
This might be for Sat.

First meal of the day cooked and served. Same-oh same-oh but we don't want anything different. Someday we might get tired of it and then I'll switch it. Ingredients = eggs, liquid egg whites, onion, peppers, bacon, shredded cheese, hash browns, blueberry bagels, butter, strawberry jelly, lemon yogurt, street taco tortillas. As I am writing down the ingredients used, I am surprised how many ingredients there are because it seems so simple when i am cooking it. Clean up is quick & easy because everything is cooked in air fryer.

I want to return to eating meal with church family on Wednesday evening. Doing a little planning how I can incorporate my preferred food ingredients without calling attention to what I am eating. DH will enjoy having his plate filled with all the foods being served there. Chocolate chip cookies (from bakery) are ready to take for our contribution to dessert table.

I'm going to roll us over to the next page already! I'm home from grocery, while out I washed and vacuumed the car and once home, got the new floor mats in. I'm cooling off and catching my breath.

DH went out for dr appointment to follow up on his bloodwork with the general practitioner. Didn't he just do that with the endocrinologist? His A1C was at 7, which is high for him. He's honestly not very compliant in many ways, but no one asked me.

I need to get my momentum back up. I have an email need to answer - when do I want to meet at cemetery with one of our board members? He's the most helpful, connected guy and I talk to him often but my bandwidth isn't great right now. But I have things I'd love to talk over with him too...perhaps tomorrow a.m. when it's still cool?

We have heat advisory here today.

I gotta get my momentum going again.
Ta das:
grocery store for pans
car wash, new mats in the car
two cemetery checks written and in the mailbox
figured out our dinner (chicken, grilled or cooked inside, it's deathly hot out, corn on cob and salad or broccoli)

I think I have to cook in two shifts in the big roaster pan I have. The second is too thick for the foil pan....

Good afternoon! Trying to get myself in gear -- I am really feeling the lack of my ADHD meds. (I put in for the refill a week and a half ago; it's been a week since the order finally got to the mail-order pharmacy, and they have finally gotten to the point where it says "we have filled your prescription and are getting it ready for shipment." I thought I had gotten the request for a refill in soon enough, but I've been out since Saturday? Sunday?) At any rate...

Happy Birthday, Nancy!

Harriet, I heard "Ambitions, Ambitions" in the tune of "Tradition" from Fiddler on the Roof. :D

Lauralind, it is not hard to imagine you're overwhelmed. That is a lot of stuff going on at once!

LadyM, your breakfast ingredients made me smile, thinking of a western omelet with chunks of blueberry bagel included in the mix. :D (Of course, I know that's not what's going on -- at least I hope not!)

Muggy again today here; temperature's just 84, but I don't know how hot it is inland.

Wake for Dfriend's sister this afternoon. Going to aim to get there right at 4 to beat the line, which I'm sure will be very long. Was going to do a crockpot of soup, but forgot to start it, so we will have "chicken parmesan" with frozen breaded chicken patties. I may cook the spaghetti in advance and toss it in olive oil to keep from sticking; we shall see. DH has Scouts at 7.

Need to make, eat, and clean up lunch, then get to work on laundry. Have a great day, everybody!

Coming back through, step by step. First round in oven. Need to cut up veggies to go with second round and have them ready for tomorrow I guess. I'll need to chill the first overnight and dh will slice it so I can get the deep roasting pan back. I'm stalling because I need to clean up too...

I have also purged the next to top shelf of the pantry. I never know what dh has stashed up there and it's too high for me to see everything.

I'm going to clean up the first part of the kitchen counter, where I trimmed the meat. Once it's done, I'll cut the rest of the veggies on the other counter and clean up there.

Your home looks so great, bw2! Wtg!

Check in

from 5x5 -
Pay two bills, through to mail box
Make out deposit (awaiting that one check... ..hmmm)
Make new TRACKER for Sept
1 1/2 laundry loads: mine through to drip-dry, then bathmat
Cleaning in small bathroom

Extras -
an additional bill discovered and done, too
watering lil' baby propagated plants and giving pep talk
copying sheets for a Round Robin and Focus (weeklies)

A good healthy brunch, especially important because yesterday was rushed convenience and also pleasing children (no complaints there - looooove it - we did include fruits).

Morning Daily Card was done well - is that a "given"? Maybe it shouldn't be... ..

I am being intentional about taking it a bit slower pace today. Yesterday was fast paced and stressful, so I'm following that with a recovery type day. i'm still getting things done but with frequent breaks.

Sauna experience is freely available. Just walk outside to spend some time in the garden and you will soon be reminded how it feels when in a man-made sauna.
