The sunrise was a pretty pink this morning. We are only going out long enough for Jake to do what he needs to do and then coming back in the garage to run. We have a long garage - picture 40 cars parked side by side. Jake can get his exercise.

I have a cardio appointment this afternoon.

Christmas cards - I need to get them done too. I have bought stamps for them. I've got the cards. Just need to sit down and sign/address them. It's hard to know what to sign since we don't know if LO still be living with us on Christmas.

this morning I visit my colorist. I need to do it on Thanksgiving Day but with a house full of company that didn't happen. Every day since them I've been trying to fit it in without success - finally this morning I just made myself stop and get it done.

DH volunteered to take LO to library story time this morning so I could go to the hospital. I got emotional at his offer because it was a pure sign of his love for me. I told him he could say I love you 10000 times, but this showed how much he meant it. Not that I doubted his love for me, but it sure is outside of his comfort zone (there are no men attending story time with little ones) and he has a zillion projects he wants to work on. But he put my needs above his. I'm getting teary just thinking about it.

I shouldn't be sitting here and should be on the road to big city instead. But I needed some "normal" in my day.....If you know what I mean....

I've been surprised lately to "find" more lost posts with the back arrow than I used to. A happy phenomenon.

bittersweet, that's the first time you mentioned your worm bins again. Are they working out well? People here grow to sell for fishing, too, or at least they used to.

Awakening - I can be awakened and go back to sleep, maybe 2 times. But the third time (and yes there can be 3 different things) is just the charm for staying awake, no matter what the time. Also anytime HRH and I actually have to talk about or deal with together any awakening problem ruins our sleep. If I awaken and realize he's not there, sleep is ruined by curiosity/concern. I am grateful that usually I can get in about 7 hours. While Mama was so sick, I think my health took a dive because of 2-hour-at-a-time sleeps, different beds, upset.

Lilac, sounds like you and dd have this thing licked. Lots of progress.

OKay, I could have written your paragraph about hair - exactly what happened to me and finally last evening enough was enough. Yes, kindness and attentiveness award for Mr. OKay. Of COURSE you will put LO's name - you will write it beautifully, or possibly let him "sign", you may make it John Hancock sized, or print it in colored lettering, and he'll be right there to receive cards sent to ya'll at his own home, too.

I am going to map out December roadmap (extra calendar) today, a la Indiana's focus she wrote last year.

Lilac - I hope your first blower experience is a good one. I tried using DH gas powered blower but it is too heavy for me to use more than 5-10 minutes and it is LOUD. Last year I bought a battery powered blower for myself (and a weed eater that uses the same battery). I am very pleased with these tools. They are not as powerful as DH's and the battery only last an hour before needing to be charged......but really.....I'm kinda glad to have a reason to stop after using it an hour. I have found all kinds of uses for the blower since it is a single flip of the button to turn it off/on. Sooo simple and easy.

Good morning everyone. Dcat18 is at the vet for her bloodwork, shave, and nail trim. The anesthesia part of it alone will be a minimum of $281, more if it takes longer! This is an expensive kitty. The other cats in the house are glad the food is back in place. Girls' Night Out was spent at XDH's house watching DD9's new netflix videos (Wizards of Waverly Place). The last 3 GNOs have been video based, need to stop this trend. I think I will eat at church tonight. When I get home I need to reorder some meds and put away the trash and recycle cans. I am not very wide awake today because getting cat to vet meant getting up an hour earlier. At least I got to work earlier than usual.

BS was great this morning. Had an apple and v-8 for breakfast so far.

I dread each showing hoping they do not buy the house! LOL! My heart is not in it but I do like the results of the mojo. it gives me for cleaning and after the showing we enjoy it so much. I'll wait to start the soup but I did get the broth out to thaw and put it in the fridge.

I need to do the floors but h. is not up so won't run the vacuum yet and mopping is what I need to do just before I leave so I don't re-track stuff in on it like I did last time. I've spiffed up the counters and swept leaves off the deck, it's been raining.

I looked over the adds for this week but did shopping yesterday. Got some adds to take to dd and they are in the car already. Dd & I had a good visit yesterday when she picked up dgd; dgd did not want to leave yet as we had just got the play doh out. Dd said working black Fri. afternoon was not so bad, but she is dreading working all day at the day job and in the evening at the other one on Fri. this week.

Hello to everybody else here and coming.

Sunny tried to text me a picture of her DH with all his black and blue, but wouldn't come through on my phone. My phone is ancient and I can't even get the keys to work properly to text back. Someday I'll upgrade. If this one ever breaks.

I've done a bit of desk chores. Not much to do right now. I'm hoping a couple bills come in today, I'd like to get my check numbers in order for the end of the month. DH used a check yesterday that was 4 ahead of where I was.

Been sewing a little. Stopped for a walk around the block, 20 minutes. Going to alternate my sewing with cleaning today. A little progress in all areas.

Lunch obtained with some badly needed caffeine. Still no word on Dcat18, but that is ok. If the vet called early it would mean problems. The only problem will be in my checkbook! I have nothing to do at payroll, that is always a worry.

I'm a slug today after starting the day with good intentions.

We just got back from choir and I did process the mail from Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Also read over the piece I have to read in church. Aside from that I don't think I've accomplished anything. I've even picked pizza for dinner.
