I'm so glad you ladies can hear what I mean and not what I type.

We have my shed all cleaned out and mostly scrubbed. Shelves, washer, utility sink and window are clean. Floor under washer and sink are clean but my knees gave out on the rest of the floor. I will bring a mop back to scrub the rest of it when I come back on Tues.

Next up is to get what we need to get out of the MH (it is going to stay here) and then head for the house.

DH's Dr. appointments are Monday and Tuesday morning and then we will come back out to clean more - go to the desert from Wed - Sunday and then be here for the rest of the time until the closing.

Must get moving. TTFN

EN thanks for clearing that up! {{{LO}}}
I slept well last night and I"m So grateful for that!

"Symptom of the day" I can breathe easier today it was like a nose cold yesterday today I"m coughing a bit. I won't be going out to dgson's game, church, or dgd's bday thing if they have it so I don't share my germs.

I saw on the news that solar storms could inturrupt with technology this weekend so it your TV, phone, internet, ipad, is acting up it might be that!

FYI ~ Yea! I hit the back button after I lost a post and got it back!
Wind warnings out until tomorrow and blowing snow in the high country. :?

Congrats on selling the 5th wheel & the lot, MT! I knew what you meant, too :) .

Hope the Rx makes Macs feel as good as new, Twins.

Hope you can get a nap in today, Lilac.

Ouch! about your dd banging her head, Harriet. Nice that you got to sleep in a little this morning.

Your clam bake dinner tonight sounds really fun, Indi :)

((Hugs)) for LO, OKay. Hope he heals quickly, & that you continue to stay healthy.

I checked out your Expo link the other day, Bittersweet. It was so nice of you to stay late & help out. Hope lots of pets find new homes this weekend. Sending you cyber energy for all the long hours you are working.

So nice that you are getting lots of sleep & feeling well rested, Helia, especially with your busy schedule.

Hope your cough clears up quickly, Nancy. Glad you are breathing easier today.

I'm heading out to shovel the driveway after I post this. Dh is not feeling well so I want him to stay inside & rest. It's only a few inches, so no snowblower needed. Good exercise, too. When I took ddog out this morning I shoveled the walk & underneath the bird feeders. It was still snowing heavily then. I'll put out some seed, too, but not too much because the deer almost always show up here at night after it snows.

I want to play in my cardfile when I come back in :) , & also update my To Do notebook. I've thrown so many scraps of paper under the front cover that every time I open it pieces fall out. Must make quacamole today. Was planning on doing that yesterday (& the day before  ) but the avacados are getting soft so can't put it off any longer. Dinner is leftover cheese manicotti with sausage added to the sauce on top.

Have a good day, everyone!

I was so tired from all my work yesterday I never made it back here. But I did have a great sleep last eve. and it was anything but sleepless. I even stayed in bed and watched TV an extra bit this morning.

Congratulations, MT on sale of RV & lot. I thought that's what you meant!

Lilac, we had credit card fraud a couple months ago, company caught it since the charge was in England! I asked the gal how that would happen and she said they put in lots of numbers and see which ones go through. Then they know that card is a good one.

OKay, so sorry LO is still sick. He doesn't have croup does he?

I've been busy today. I did a little sewing this morning, then went outside with DH to tackle those leaves. He used the rider and blew them all into piles around the trees, and I raked and carted away. Then when he was done he helped with that part. We got the whole yard done, however there are still a bunch on the trees so will have to do it again. We had to finish with a wheelbarrow because the axle on garden cart broke. DH tried to fix but the metal he had was rusted, so he's off to HD to get something to fix it.

Reconciled bank statement. Yikes I had it messed up, forgot to log about $1000 deposit (put wrong amount in, there were 2 checks) so I am richer than I thought! We are doing a little better. Steady paychecks and older house rented out really makes a difference.

I'm going back to my sewing now.

Busy day - got manicure and pedicure, then got glasses adjusted and paid a visit to the cosmetics counter at the mall and had make up done. Trouble is, I still need to wash my hair, so we'll see how that works.

Of concern is that dMacs just threw up a little; our vet said to report any changes in his behavior or any throwing up or diarrhea because side effects of his meds could be severe. But our vet is closed for the weekend and we get referred to the emergency vet, and on one hand, it's hard to see how one dose of the meds (and we are purposely underdosing to start with) could affect him so much. So I think we are going to "sit tight" on taking him to emergency vet tonight (and proceed with our evening plans) and see how he is when we get in, and presumably in the morning. So hard to decide what is right - if I knew he was really sick I wouldn't hesitate (believe me, we've been there for other issues) but other than the little bit of throw up he's normal. He's fussing at me now because I haven't fed him.

19 cards done so far! That is good for me; some of the cards take over an hour to finish. OTOH, the kids did some tasks that are weekly cards, like vacuuming and cleaning the g pig cage.

House is in decent shape for tomorrow. I still need to s/s the main bathroom and do some dusting and spot window washing in the living areas. I might have time to do that before church - or right afterward as I'm planning to skip CE (Christian Ed.) hour after the service tomorrow to pick up my food order and get things set up.

I now have brownies in the oven for lunch tomorrow. Now, I need to throw together a salad for small group tonight. I've already printed out directions to the visitation. I'll need to change my clothes too.

Dh's plane should be landing now. Small group officially starts in 15 minutes.

Lots of things going on! :) I'm learning that I like my life that way to some extent. . .

Etiquette Question: Does one wear black/dark clothes to a visitation? I probably will anyway just b/c I have a lot of dark-ish clothes.

We are having problems with our internet connection. It isn't necessarily solar storms. We haqve had problems and they have gotten worse. Our corporate office is looking into it. So I will be on when I can this weekend.

It warms my heart to see helia and Dove with renewed interest in the cardfile.

helia, because I use grouped-tasks cards, I definitely can't turn them very fast. Sounds like you are doing great to me.

Twins Mom, just on general principle, I would think a vet might prescribe potentially tummy-troubling meds to start on a Monday so their office will be available for questions. Are there any instructions for giving with foods, maybe, or could you find that info on the net?

bittersweet, I hope you had a great fair day today. Very impressed with all your donated work yesterday I think you get a Woo Hoo for that. I hope there wasn't any tragedy in the fire.

Nancy, I'm so grateful you still have electricity - get well soon.

Dd's mattress cover is in the dryer now, sheets are next, and she's cleaning all around and under her bed so we can get it all back together before bedtime. She was disappointed to see the new sheets she was hoping to put on her bed this time are for a double and she has a single. They were a gift to her from ds when she was still sleeping in the other room.

Prior laundry was my ddad's towels. Also today I ran a dry swiffer over the ceiling and walls in L/D and kitchen. If I have time tonight I need to get the microwave cleaned - there has been an accident. Ick. And it would be great to get the kitchen floor mopped - we'll see.

Good day today but I'm exhausted.

Helia I've been sleeping well since dh went away but I also haven't had any hot-flashes at night either. Can't see how my hot-flashes could be related to him (although he is 'hot stuff'!)

My course went well. I really enjoyed it. Discovered I have to have a police check (still not sure why - we don't do one-on-one with people) in order to be licensed and that takes 6 weeks here so I will do that before I leave so I'll have my certificate in hand before April.

Did the groceries and Costco run and had time to kill so shopped for pants for the trip. I'm a size down from last summer and don't have touring pants in this size. Will have to stick with the overlarge ones I'm afraid unless I have more luck on Tuesday. I did get a sparkly formal top, though, so my time wasn't wasted.

Had an early dinner with ds at a restaurant and we ended up talking for over an hour.

Now I have to stay awake long enough to finish up the Sunday School lesson. I have fish to cut out and fishing rods to make.

I laughed out loud at this Kathryn!!

Back from the visitation and small group. Dh went with me to the visitation, even though we left 10 minutes after he arrived home. Driving there and back in the car was a way to get some one-on-one catch up time before we entered the social setting of small group. The visitation at the family's home was PACKED! We stood in line for 45 minutes to offer our condolences to the couple and see the baby.

Dh is extremely tired. Unfortunately, he has a deadline on Monday; he's submitting 9 papers (w/ his students) to a conference, so he's going to be busy and stressed the next couple days on top of his jetlag. He said only one paper was in good shape at this point.

I'm going to do my living area dusting chore. Then, I'll read and then go to bed.
