Hi everyone! I am at payroll, where comments have come in on my software verification document. I need to incorporate them. Last night I went to art class, so I got nothing done at home, except basic cat care. I need to enter some checks in Quicken, but it probably won't happen tonight either. Tonight I am eating and going to a movie with a friend and our kids and XDH. XDH and I will transfer DD at the movie. At least it is a dollar theatre. Movies are generally so expensive these days! I get to bed late on thursdays, so I am really tired this morning.

Sunny mentioned in A,C & N posting a direct link without html showing.
First, type [url=
immediately follow that with the e-addy of the page you want to link
Then type ]
Then type the words you will use to describe the link
Then type [/url]

Twins Mom, I blame YOU for my waste * (?) of nearly 2 hours last evening on Pinterest. I emailed dd13 THREE times with what I thought each time would be the last idea I wanted to show her (decorating). I emailed myself, titling it "food", about 10 ideas, and I'm not even a cook. I raised my eyebrows at the male form. All this and I never followed even ONE person's own pinterests, but stayed on that one day's first page, never reaching the "end" of the first page (is there one?). Good grief.

*It won't be a waste if I use any of the ideas. A couple were doozies. But if I start a pinterest membership, to show that I like these, I'll never leave the computer.

(Dee) I'm almost thinking M ed C o must have some kind of agenda going, some kind of unspoken trend they try to do, like discourage having to pay anything out...perhaps people there work on some sort of incentive program? Probably not, but I'd be thinking something is going on besides poor record-keeping.

I'm singing in the rain today. It drizzled earlier and it's grey and sorta misty looking now. We need a real gully washer here, we're so dry, but I'll take anything I can get. I hope Sunny is getting some of this.

Harriet, I saw that post, but my brain is saying it was not last evening late but earlier...? I'm surprised I'm retaining anything in my brain these days. They say exercising your thinking is good for prevention of altzhimer (sp?) later on and I've surely been doing this with all the sewing.

I guess I missed what Lucy said... I think you do great, Lucy, with a full time + job and all your family obligations.

Laundry I forgot to bring in last eve. is hanging out there damp. It's under a roof, but there's so much humidity in the air. I decided to leave it out for a bit more.

Not much to do in the house. DH is out working for once, and I am happily sewing away.

My last post said:
I've s2s and had my breakfast.
The situation is unchanged. Still haven't done anything today. It is 1:30 here now. I'm panicking (but not moving.)

I sure don't understand the Rx snafus either, Harmony! DH has new insurance # and his seems to be just fine. Except they somehow have one of my meds listed under his account. :( Still waiting for the supervisor to call me, so am carrying my little notebook with me so I'm sure I have all the needed info. I sure would like to get this straightened out once and for all!

Funny for today was TRYING to do Sunday's bulletin. For some reason none of us who were there were able to get the copier to print. So I put in most of the info and called in the 'troops'. DD is going up with me and meeting another person at 8am tomorrow. She uses "publisher" all the time and I'm sure she can figure out why we're unable to get it to print. We have more questions than answers for sure! And no way to contact the church secretary. I do think I'm going to ask if I can come in the next few Fridays when she's there so I can learn the system frontwards and backwards, however.

Really praying for good results for dd's meeting with dgd's behavior analyst today. Hopefully she will have some answers and suggestions. I am somewhat fearful because she's nearly 14 and acting 7 a good amount of time with a 14 year old's 'street smarts'. If that makes any sense.

It's still misting here, but supposed to be nice tomorrow. Going to Magic Kingdom we've decided since it's been a long while since dh has been there.

Oh my, Kathryn. Hate tose kind of days. But I've only shopped and made lunch. That's it.

I have eaten lunch now (and handled a phone call.)

I have an apron on. Am going to the basement to dust and vacuum. I'm not allowed out until I finish that task.

The freezing rain finally stopped. Now it is snowing hard.

Hi I haven't caught up but I wanted to let you know I am doing good.

I pushed too far when my oxygen was so good and did a few things I should have waited a little longer to do. So I was breathing faster and shallower than normal and over a few days and was hyperventaling. Even though my oxygen level was reading 98 I felt out of breath. I did an extra breathing treatment and it reversed.

I got everything ready to go to ER and did the extra treatment and I was fine.

I'm going to catch up now.

It's one of those days where things are coming at me, and I can't really work on my own schedule.

-a.m. routine started
-out the door at 7:55 to drop off dd13 at school
-met dh for coffee
-went to WW
-traffic was awful; sat in a queue for a while and finally turned around and found another route across town b/c a main north/south road had been blocked off due to Obama's presence on campus for a speech this morning
-got to WW at 9:55 for 9:30 meeting. BUT I had lost 1.6 lbs. :)
-stayed for a power start session at 10:00
-went to Tar-jay
-went home
-ate lunch; I hadn't eaten anything by this point in the day
-reclaimed kitchen, so a.m. routine was done except for laundry
-welcomed 2 (and later a 3rd) of ds' friends here to work on their gravity vehicle for the school's science olympiad team. One is Korean, one is Indian, one is Russian (with an accent) - and then there is ds! I love the diversity! The Russian kid just won 3rd place in the nation in some computer security competition; he is one sharp kid! I hope he is as talented at gravity vehicle construction.
-went over specs for the bathroom remodel with dh
-updated laundry
-dfriend called and I chatted with her for 40 minutes; she is traveling with her dh this weekend. He is giving a talk in FL, and she is enjoying the warmer weather!
-now, it is 2:30.

Next:
-buy stamps
-groc. store
-put away groceries
-keep laundry going

Dh has gone into the garage to supervise the boys; apparently, they are helping themselves to his power tools without asking first. Not a good idea! We don't want them to leave behind any fingers or hands.

Ds and dd16 are leaving tonight for a church high school retreat, so dd13 will be a single child for the weekend. She has a busy weekend, though; 2 performances at the middle school solo/ensemble festival tomorrow. One at 8:30, one at 3:00.

I hope you are fine now, Indiana!

Indiana - glad you were able to resolve that! I've learn from watching DDad, that it is EXTREMELY difficult to do when your going through breathing difficulties! ***VBPOTB***

Helia - I just love hearing about your day. It is so varied and interesting. :)

Out of the basement and down from the bedroom level. Still have the main level to do and to mop the floors but it is a good start.

I'm taking a break now.
