Bernice, hi, I remember that you have a grandchild not too much younger than my middle grandboy, 3 - aren't they something else at this age! And I think a son not much younger than my ds. Hope the family is doing well.
I'll send you a PM to let you know the answers to your questions best I can. You check PMs up in the left top of the screen by clicking on messages.
Hello to jquandt88, welcome, what was your "handle" before, maybe some of us remember you.

Re: Sunday comfort
Welcome to jquandt88 and and a hello again to Bernice - glad you're coming out of lurk-dom to join us again.
I took a nap with dMoses, who has surgery tomorrow for what may be cancer. I'm having trouble dealing with the concept at all because he seems in perfect health. Trying to not think about it until we know more tomorrow, but I am trying to spend some extra special time snuggling with him. I think our village pets seem to be having a rough time right now - Jake and Orphan Cat (of blessed memory) too.
Dh is going bowling this afternoon and is going to get groceries as well.
I need to get rolling....
-clear kitchen counters
-start a load of laundry
-straighten up family room
-clear kitchen table
-empty the dishwasher

~~~waving Hi to all & a special welcome to jquandt88~~~~ Good to see Bernice posting.
After staying home with sick LO for over a month it was a very welcome change for us to worship @ church this morning. Apparently this virus is hitting several children hard. LO best friend has been sick for the past several weeks and missing church too. Another boy his age is currently enduring his 3rd day being in the hospital getting breathing treatments every 2 hours. Goooo away nasty virus and quit bothering the little ones!!
MPB quit putting out soap (solenoid issues) while we were at church so that needed immediate attention on the way home. While DH was solving that issue, LO and I went to local BBQ place and picked up a family pak so lunch was quick-N-easy once we got home.
Re: Sunday comfort
Just a quick note while I am at home changing clothes between Church and the Flea Market.
I've put up a lot of pictures of my cacti projects on my blog if you have some time to waste. Still a long way to go, but people are noticing and commenting on it. We've even met some neighbors who stop as they are driving by if we are out working.
Also pictures of my crazy DD#2 jumping in the frozen lake for charity. I think the costumes were fab.
TTFN. Wish me luck in picking up some decor items for my house.
PS: Welcome to jquandt88 & good to see Bernice posting.
Re: Sunday comfort
I have a stack of several things to scan - like OKay I use a Scansnap here at home. I also use it at work - which is one reason why it was so hard sitting at another computer with no scanner. I was up and down all the time.
DH is still out. I am going to build us a fire in the fireplace as the temp is dropping and then start cutting up veggies for the soup for tonight - it's a Tomato, wild rice and sausage soup with carrots, celery and onions.
Just responded to an email from dd - she wants to stay in K-town and do summer school and dh is opposed - wants her to work. Of course, she also applied to the Jewish summer camp that she used to attend to work as a counselor, and hasn't heard from them but won't email to ask. So I told her she had to find out about camp first before we talked about anything else.
On to the soup....
Re: Sunday comfort
Hi Bernice! Please post often. The more the merrier!
Well the open house was an eye opener. A man and his 2 young daughters came to look at the house for his bil who is out of town. He has 4 boys, so I can't see it working for him. A mother and her daughter came, they were very sweet but I don't think she can afford it. A cute blonde came with 2 guys. Dh is hoping they weren't just casing the joint. Then a man bounded in and immediately started studying the info sheet we had prepared. I immediately knew he was a realtor. Then another guy showed up and he is the realtor that dd2 used to buy her new house. He was really surprised to see me there. He didn't know we had lived there. He had figured out that we now own dd2 house. Anyway he hit dh up while they were in the garage that he could sell it for us for 3 1/2 % or 1% if we need him to write a contract. The banker had warned me that the realtors are like wolves when it comes to going after for sale by owner situations. Dd2 realtor said there are 65 realtors in town. We were surprised at the number. Anyway dh and I have agreed to see what happens with the first guy. We are both willing to do whatever we can to help him get it, if he is serious. If that doesn't work out and we aren't getting much interest, then I think we should go with the realtor who will do it for 3 1/2 %. He is the only realtor that I would be willing to work with. Dd2 worked at her first job with him and his twin brother. His wife is a nurse, they have 3 kids and his mother lives with them. He substitute teaches to supplement his realtor income. He needs the money more than any of the other realtors that I have run across. I sure wouldn't want to work with the first realtor that showed up. I have always said that we would starve if dh was a car salesman. Now I know that him and I aren't realtor material either.
MT, I am always glad to see your new blog entry on Sunday. I always love your pictures. It is plain to see that make improvements anywhere you are.
