Too bad about art class, Elizabeth!
Harmony is feeling cheerful today, I see!
Yea, a lot of people were saying it must just be a joke, but the article said the company was silent about it for 24 hours, then issued a statement saying it was another company's fault. So I don't see anyone standing up and taking credit for some delightful joke. I don't intend to go around with a chip on my shoulder, but I wasn't born yesterday, either - not young enough to pretend I haven't heard this seriously in the past!
Nancy, my ddad was looking out at squirrel antics this a.m., too. I think it is definitely spring fever time for them.
We haven't commented here on spring blossoms much this year. Our jonquils and daffodils have been in full bloom now for several days. I believe the crocus is gone. We had a misguided robin slam into our dining room window and die on the porch, poor thing. But hundreds of others are finding worms all around us. Time to buy the flea repellent.

Re: Positive Day Thursday
What a beautiful day! Dh, ddog & I took a nice long walk this morning. Finished up morning routine, have a plan for dinner, & am getting ready to work some more in the office. First, though, a delicious mug of hot cocoa & some time here
. It's actually much cooler in the house than outside. When it warms up a little more this afternoon I will open lots of windows & air the house out.
I'm off to cuo today's posts. Waving~~~~~ to everyone!

Positive Day....hmmm How's this? I'm positive my bedroom will be decluttered by the end of the day. Shouldn't have to leave home today, so no excuses. Yesterday my DMother had a dr. appt. in the morning, & then I took a 3 hour nap in the afternoon. Must have needed the rest, but still..... In the evening I went back to DMother's & played 5000 (a dice game sort of like B unco) with her & several of her friends until nearly 10:00. It was fun, those ladies are a hoot, all of them are 90 and above.
Dove, using a towel to medicate Colby (cat) is working! He has very long legs & a long body (part Maine Coon) so getting him wrapped up in a towel is challenging, but it impedes him enough to get the job done.
Waving to everyone.

Re: Positive Day Thursday
Just poking in to say hey to you all!
Positive Day - I just finished my 2nd week of teaching at the moms group this morning; it went well, but we didn't quite finish what we needed to finish, so I'm going to extend into another teacher's time next week. She said that was OK. I am going to my parents' this weekend for a visit and I hope that is positive. I'm helping organize a 50th wedding anniversary party for them in June and hope to talk about some details while I'm there. Ds left this morning for his robotics team's first competition, north of here about 4? hours. I hope that ends up being positive! The robot had some serious issues that got ironed out in the last week.
They are cutting it a little close. Ds solved a robot problem while falling asleep the other night. Interesting, since dh does a lot of problem solving in his (light) sleep too, enough that he keeps a notebook and pen by his bed to write down his ideas. I do some as well too. All these things are positive, happy thoughts for me, though I am utterly exhausted. I haven't been sleeping too well lately, I'm a little on edge over some things.
Thursday dinner is on tonight. In fact, dh invited one of his colleagues to join us.
I'm off to the library to pick up books on tape for my trip - then I'll pick up dd16 since ds isn't around to drive her home.
Have a positive day all!

Re: Positive Day Thursday
I was off to a good start this morning, but have fizzled big time and can't seem to get started again. I am so sleepy I just want to sleep. Caffeine didn't help.
I did get the sheets hung up, throw rugs washed and hung up. More phone calls fielded. I'm going to start counting them just for fun. Puttering around putting stuff away, etc. I think one of my problems is that I'm cold. It's warm enough in here, it's just me for some reason. I'm going outside to work in the sun for a bit. Maybe that'll help.

Re: Positive Day Thursday
Good day today but we were tired with only 6 hours of sleep.
The tour was 8.5 hours long. Two hours to Ronda, 2 hours of walking around with a guide, 2 hours on our own and 2.5 hours to drive back. There were only 5 of us on the tour so we got all our questions answered.
Internet is spotty here. Wondering if the solar flare is causing trouble. Our time has almost run out so we need to get more added tomorrow.
Off to the show now. See you tomorrow!

Back from my walk saw the nearly week old goats again I counted a dozen of them it was sunny and 53* out
chatted with some friends that made it fun!

I could not do it today b/c of granny duty three hours is just not enough notice I do have a life could not leave. They did not want the dinner hour time slot I could do today oh well 24 hrs. is good enough. Saw the other owners up the street on a walk and they have a showing too. They just listed theirs it priced just a bit more than ours is. Told h. it was time for him to clean his desk may as well use the mojo. where ever you can get it right? LOL! H. is working on his desk now oh yea love forward progress of any kind!
Lunch is done. Thinking about if I should wait to pick up after granny duty.
Roses still need planted! I have planted two new rose bushes it's perfect weather for it today!

Re: Positive Day Thursday
Home from errands - 11 stops in all
One of the stops was lawyer to pick up paperwork and receive update. Seems last Monday court date has been rescheduled to middle of May since they still haven't answered the questions. We are slowly getting an education in legal system and also learning the meaning of patience!!
While doing errands, we were notified that DH DAunt died this morning. This is the elder sister of the DAunt that died last week. DH is good about keeping up with his elderly family members and had stopped by to visit DAunt a couple days ago. She was a sweetie and always positive. I'm going to miss her smile and kind ways.
Got another phone call in reference to preparing food for church funeral (not family related). So I added a stop at the grocery store to our errands and picked up a few things. I'll make time either this evening or in the morning to prepare large potato salad and large green salad (enough to serve 50 people) and have both of them ready by 10am tomorrow.
I'm shocking my family a bit with my decision to give up my smart phone. I made the decision to simply my life as much as possible. DH wasn't discouraging when i told him, but he thinks I will miss having a smartphone capabilities with me because I use it so much. I paid attention to how much I used it this morning to conduct business while out-N-about. He might be right, but I still want to give it a try. Our cell phone provider lost their contract for cell towers in our state (and an adjoining state too) so I am being forced to make a switch to a different provider. While I'm in the process of switching providers, I decided to shake things up and switch phone capabilities too. It's a good thing I enjoy the challenge of change.
